I love the little DW community we have here too, past & present, it all adds to the enjoyment.

So excited about tomorrow morning, I almost don't want to sleep in case I miss it. It's my brother's birthday today & we're going out to dinner, I can pretend it's a DW celebration too though.

Oh crap Meglos, have you set the recorder for tonight? The 2 hour special you would miss???
I'm afraid I would be telling my brother to get take-away, nobody is disturbing my who celebrations, they have all been warned.
Bother me at your peril.
Just cancelled swimming I usually get to with a friend.

Shit I think I need to run down and buy soft drinks for my spiders, (my preferred celebration drink), lollies, snacks, and croissants for breakfast viewing.

Only 1 more sleep, well half a sleep!
And the goodies start rolling tonight:)

I want to see this.........

Some eagle-eyed Doctor Who TV readers have since discovered a Red Button TV listing for a Doctor Who special mini episode called The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot (hence FDR).

Miss the classic Doctors? They’re back in this celebratory special written and directed by Peter Davison.
Some of you remember the Classic Doctor “protest” or Sean Pertwee’s script tweet a while back. According to the latter, Peter Davison will be joined by Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Sean Pertwee and Olivia Colman and they will all star as themselves.

And I want to see all the Doctor specials and celebrations, but how to make sure you don't miss stuff, can find stuff???

Here is a start for your list making-

Looking for the 11 Doctors if anyone finds them.

Yep, anything that I can't watch live I'll catch up with later.

Matt Smith & David Tennant were on the Graham Norton show this week too. Hasn't been on here yet.

I know, that screened UK today.
And TV guide says we are getting it Sunday night - and it clashes with the main events on ABC.
Honestly is 10 run by a robot or something? How stupid

I wanna go to a 3-day DW party. :(
And I like Matt's hair shorter.

Bunkering in for tonight's special. Someone wanted to come over to my house tonight but I pretended that I was going to be out. Seemed easier than saying I'd rather watch the tele. heehee

I will be watching at 6.50 am tomorrow..

May I comment or will that "spoil" it for others.?

I may bawl at some point :)

Good point Medusa.
We better deal with this spoiler issue now, and in my opinion/my vote, anyone that doesn't watch the simulcast has to have a medical certificate to excuse you or be serving a prison sentence.

Otherwise, why would you miss it?
I love doing this stuff. Event TV, and we are usually doing it at dawn - and that just makes it more of an event:)

So - do we agree, straight after the simulcast we can come in here and spoil away?

I know I'm going to cry, and laugh, and scream:)

do you have 3D tickets Medusa?.

And I have all the provisions I need now I think, lollies, raspberry Schweppes; croissants & ice coffee for a.m.
Herbal relaxation.
Cash for home deliveries of pizza etc.
TV set up cosy in bed viewing.

So excited.

Commenting during the show is fine by me. I won't be reading it til after, but would be fun to have a commentary here.

I just watched the Ultimate Guide on ABC2. It was terrific, especially seeing some of the old actors, like Leela, Ace, Peri, Jo Grant, and docs 6,7 and 8.

But they only had 2 hours so they had to leave a lot out, e.g. they gave the impression that there were no male companions in the classic series. What about Ian, Jamie, Harry, Turlough and of course Adric, and maybe others I forgot. I cried so much when Adric died.

Anyway, have fun tomorrow guys, should be amazing.

Yeah, commenting during or just after the show is fine by me, personally I'll probably come on straight afterwards.

Going to watch the Ultimate Guide now.
