Jane Doe I also heard Ed's second interview on SeaFM Hobart where he said that even his brother didn't understand his experience and when they asked about a future with Jade, he said to be honest he wanted someone to lean on and that he was comfortable with post-BB. A strange thing to admit to I thought.
Like you said, Nick couldn't interfere with Jade and Ed in the BB house. I think it was perfect that they got a chance to navigate their relationship out of the house without him. The fact that he didn't arrive back in Melbourne until close to midnight the night before Jade was leaving was interesting. Ed seemed keen to introduce Jade to his family, (his cousin and Milly), but just as Milly changed her tune and deleted half of the Lower blog after their meeting, perhaps Nick thought he too might have to or want to change his tune after meeting her. This would make it all the harder for him to make the most of Ed post-BB if he has to factor Jade into things. I definitely sense some jealousy on Nick's part and I hope that Ed has grown a lot in the past three months (he did admit to learning a lot of lessons about himself) and that he is able to stand up to Nick if necessary. I read somewhere the other day where Nick said that he sets the standards and Ed follows. His various comments about having to chat with Ed about how he handled the not sleeping in his bed situation, also raised eyebrows for me, along with Ed constantly looking for his brother's reaction during his eviction packages.
Edit: Another point worth mentioning is that Nick has just been de-listed from his football club and it appears that career has ended. No doubt he will need Ed more than ever.
Jane and @Hughsey. Both of you have captured the essense beautifully.
Jade is a stabilising factor for Ed. The Ed that went into the house is not exactly the same Ed that left.
Ed has moved away from his brothers shadow to the bewilderment of his brother They will always have their twin bond.
I agree with everything you've said. I loathe Ed's family, especially Nick and the jury's still out, re Ed. If he makes Jade happy and turns out to be geniune in his feelings for her, I'll remain hanging in there.
Recent photos of Ed though, out with his gang of mates, unsettles me a bit. I could imagine if he and Jade did make a serious go at it that when he's got everything the way he wants and they had a spat, he'd ditch her easily for a night out "with the boys"... then not be able to communicate effectively with her and Jade would end up miserable, on-repeat!
Jade seems to want a quiet home life with a hubby and kids and although I can see her as a great partner, socialising wise, Ed might be the kind to leave the [wife] and kids at home too much.
I also hope that Jade remains her own woman with career goals and independence within any relationship. She's so young... plenty of time for marriage and kids and even then retaining a career and personal goals are part of a healthy relationship.
Can Ed give her this? Can Nick keep out of their relationship? Can Jade recognise all of her needs and wants, and not focus so much on Ed/anyone? If Ed's who she wants... I hope so!
The perfect solution might be for Nick and Annie to hook up.![]()

I did not know that but it doesn't surprise me. Look at how Ed followed Jade's lead, lol.Like you said, Nick couldn't interfere with Jade and Ed in the BB house. Hey, Jane Doe, I would be really interested in your thoughts as to why the radio silence. I enjoy reading your thoughts and speculations.![]()
I think it was a fairly short interview the night of the wrap party. It will cover all of the BB wrap party gossip, so I don't think they will have a major article just about them. At that point, I doubt they could say more than "we will see what happens" so people shouldn't count on it being too revealing. It's also why I don't think it's what is causing radio silence.
I think the strongest, most likely scenario is they decided to keep their relationship strictly between them, meaning phone and text, rather than twitter and such. To avoid his mates' teasing or to keep Nick from interfering (if that's a worry, I think it's completely subconscious) Ed might have encouraged it and if he's more comfortable being emotionally intimate under those circumstances, Jade would totally go along. If they want to keep their public personas more career focused, it's probably the best move to move the personal stuff off of social media, especially given the rampant speculation that accompanies their every move. When/if they have an appearance together, we'll probably see that kind of stuff but not much else, though I expect them to tweet/retweet stuff that my appear in NW this week, because it IS part of their BB experience.
The other option is that they decided together that it wasn't going to work, so they've just decided to pretend like it never happened. I think this is much less likely because meeting the family and deleting the blog happened just before they separated. I think after going to that level, Ed would be less inclined to just give up and I know Jade would find it difficult to let go. It certainly could have happened, or they at least could have decided to put things "on hold", knowing that it was more than likely the end but neither one admitting it, but it just doesn't feel right; it seems too sudden, like they wouldn't have had the time for Ed to have spent 6 hours trying to get the words out.

So I've convinced @TahnyLew to party with me in Surfers tonight!! @sincityGC are you ready to get mental, the crazy kids are coming!
Seems like Jade is not going out tonight?![]()
I would like to think that Ed has moved away from his brother, but I'm not sure. I think it was a good sign that he didn't encourage his brother to hang out for the end of BB and the wrap party, and he spent time with Jade's dad and his BB friends separate from his brother, but, again, that could be the whole twin-issue identity thing, so I don't know.Jane and @Hughsey.
