Tim Brunero (can't remember the year?!) was obsessed with Kate and he wasn't crucified at all...in fact he's one of the most loved housemates.
Tim didn't lie all over Kate and was just having friendly banter with her. they both laughed about it. Jade put her body on the line to harass Ed, she should of been a cricketer. Jade never joked when it came to Ed
Jade is a stage whatever stalker, still is. BB just edited her in the final week as an Estelle, being bullied, just to get her sympathy votes until Fabio flew in

So why didn't Ed speak to her sternly about it if she's such a stalker, and also, why is Ed hanging out so much with his stalker?Tim didn't lie all over Kate and was just having friendly banter with her. they both laughed about it. Or is Jade 'forcing' him to do this also?
It's not fair to label her that stuff when he's been a completely willing participant in their 'romance'.

Agreed. I was looking up her twitter today and even before she "broke up" with Tully, people were abusing her for "getting in the way" of Drully. She was in a lose-lose situation. Giving her a little cash for a story will make Tahlia feel a bit better, I think she deserves a bit of comfort. It wont change anyone's opinion - people have already picked their sides re: Drully. I don't think she will be calling Drully a "sham", though???
I agree. The amount of random people constantly bringing up Tully in the comments on her social network profiles is extraordinary. There are a lot of people who simply won't let her move on. Sometimes the best thing is to at least step forward and have your own say to a wide audience. She was humiliated on national tv and probably wouldn't mind attempting to get some dignity back. Granted, there may be a little revenge wanting to be had too.... Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and all that

I don't think I watched that year. Or if I did, I took no notice lol. Whereas Vincent BB03 was for his pursuit of Jo.

Completely agree with this. I mentioned something similar yesterday in the JA thread but retracted it in fear of coming across as an even bigger anti-JadEd protester aha.
LOL! You need to stop worrying who you will offend! I'm glad that you see things this way too. It isn't a jab at what's better, but just an indication of the differences that are notably obvious to me. But hey if they work out they will work out and anything I've said is just a bunch if BS

I thought he was just uber keeno as well, people get obsessed and it's embarrassing to watch but it's nothing more than that.I don't think I watched that year. Or if I did, I took no notice lol. Whereas Vincent BB03 was for his pursuit of Jo.
And when both are obsessed as each other people love it (Drully).
Yeah - But that's not Jade's fault.BB commitments? damage control for public image? Fabio? who knows? there are missing jokers in my deck of cards so maybe Ed is playing these ATM

There's not many places you can go when you're locked up in a house with someone!
Look to a certain degree Ed reciprocated but Jade was also aware that he wasn't that keen when she goes 'I don't think you want to hear this but (insert relationship/commitment line)'
that leads me to believe she knew Ed wasn't keen but still went ahead with everything anyway!!
she's selfish and self-serving and doesn't do a THING out of Ed's interests - she's interested in security he can offer HER - stability he can offer HER because she's so not put together like he is!!
Edit: Tim was a freak so I'm not sure what that proves - that time he put his finger in her ear I vaguely recall - disgusting!
Yes, I remember that comment, "think about us". I was so surprised when he said that.
I wondered if I had missed some sort of allegiance conversation they had, but I couldn't help but also wonder 'has he let something slip here? Do they know each other outside of the house?' (Platonically)
He was quite aggressive when talking to her, it seemed he was struggling to control is anger.
I'm still puzzled by that comment. Us? What Us? Would love someone to shed some light on this if they can.
Earlier, Ed and Matt, from memory had a conversation with Tully when she became friends with Drew to keep her ear to the ground about Drew and Tim's discussions. Once Tully and Drew became closer, I think it angered them that they had lost Tully as their ears and eyes into the enemy camp. Phew, I hope that explains the "think about us" comment.

i will also point out Drew has posted more photos on his instagram of Boog than he has of Tully. no i am not trying to put the Drully relationship down, just an observation
i actually like Tully quite a bit but it would be awful if she was to get hurt again, although people would think it's karma, i think it would be sad

I don't think 'fault' is necessarily the right word. She was uncomfortably (to me) able to ignore the non-verbal signals Ed was giving. This was exacerbated by the fact that Ed, whom I suspect very very much wanted to win, couldn't work out how to let her down gently. He (rightly, if the Jade Appreciation thread is anything to go by) was concerned that if he was too blunt with Jade he would lose his fan base. Little did he know that he was probably damned if he did and damned if he didn't.I thought he was just uber keeno as well, people get obsessed and it's embarrassing to watch but it's nothing more than that.

In terms of the awkwardness of their relationship, I think they've both made mistakes, but who knows?

Well that would make sense, no wonder he was so angry. She was their mole and they wanted her to continue the mission. LOL @ Ed and his house of cards.

The problem is, girls at that age in particular will look for any little sign that someone is interested and he did drop a number of mixed signals.
The guy is 26, a footballer and has probably interacted with groupies, he should know how to deal with clingy women.
I realise (like most Jade fans) that Jade was a stage 5 clinger but Ed should have been stern with her about it if she was really cramping his style.
I don't believe Jade's selfish at all, but I've given up trying to defend Jade to people who have made up their mind about her.

I actually think she is more put together than he is. She knows what she wants, sure she isn't perfect, but he isn't either. He can't decide what he wants and seems to say one thing and do another, he is never clear to say what he really wants and can't articulate his point and make a decision. He just seems to babble his way out of things and it's no longer an issue because he confuses the other person. He is not confident of saying what he really is thinking and worries way too much about what others will think. She lives for herself, will put it all out there and put herself on the line- no matter how humiliating that may be- she shows more guts and therefore is more put together, even if she doesn't believe it!
He is more selfish and self serving for the reasons I listed above because rather than make a decision he flip flops all over the place to try and keep things even to benefit himself.

Now I'm kicking myself for deleting the "er" in "Higher"!
What a fool I was trying to simplify things for someone I thought might be from the US......
Cheers for the Grammar lesson......Will try harder next time ;-)
