Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I think Tim's just going into damage control after the fight last night and trying plant the blame on Drew for not standing up for him. It's honestly nothing. I have to roll my eyes watching all the Tim "fans" jumping ship. Seriously, consistently the most entertaining HM and now they don't want him to win based off one poor day of LFs. Seriously if we all jumped ship that quick Jade wouldn't have one fan left. She's wonderful but does some stuff that makes us cringe God love her.

I think the difficulty that people are having with Tim is that Tim no longer has an opponent that all of the other fans hate, since Ed is gone. The best thing that ever happened to Tim in this game was Ben going instead of Ed. Tim has no other target now, except his "friends" (who he now claiming are not his friends, btw) or Jade, and, let's face it, going after Jade when she was vulnerable and down would not have won him many votes. Tim really wanted to keep the animosity up with Boog, but she undercut him by asking him to talk and then he really has no where to go with it. But just like his last fight with Boog, where he blamed Ed for "not having his back", he is claiming the same thing with Drew. Drew fans, of course, are not happy.

I'm just sitting back, eating my popcorn, watching the house and the board. It's quite entertaining now that Jade is not the object of all the scorn, derision, and hate.

I mentioned in another thread this morning that I think Tim (and to a lesser extent Drew) was a bit thrown by Ed's eviction. I get the impression he thought Ed was a massive threat and he had already planned his game for the last week which was simply to highlight to the audience Ed's weaknesses and hope viewers see it. Now he's unsure again, had yet another fight with Boog which he didn't handle well, and is targeting Drew in the aftermath.

Like someone said in the LF thread, all Tim had to do was bring the humour and be a shoulder to cry on for Jade and he'd have the thing wrapped up. However he's the one whinging and trying to paint himself as a victim and underdog while Jade seems remarkably fine (and she's probably the only one of them who could milk the sympathy card if she wanted to).

And yes, I have to admit myself, I am enjoying things more now that Jade isn't the brunt of every bit of hate. Not that I want to see it all thrown at Tim, but Jade certainly deserves a break.

I think Tim is self-destructing because he just can't stop trying to control the narrative. He is desperate to portray himself as the misfit underdog, so he's being really pissy and nasty to Boog and even Drew, and seems to be trying to draw Jade ever closer to himself. Some stuff went down last night and Tim is back on his "you don't have my back" spiel. He's very good at making himself look like the victim, I will say that. Ed was wrong all along, because Tim's game isn't manipulating the HMs, it's manipulating the viewing public, which I think Jade picked up on in the early going.

Thanks for clearing that up. I will hopefully get to see some of yesterday now that I am done doing all the lost and found pet posts. Cant people see that I have no net and am trying to watch bb? lol Stop losing your pets already. ;)
 
Leaving hubbys work now, boo! I only got to see two videos because I had to get the lost and found posts done. Pretty annoyed as I told them I am out of action and no one else has done anything. :O The little ones hungry though so heading out to dinner now. I did my last votes and almost doubled last week's. I can't help myself lol. Evil Jade for making me care. :-P I am having huge bb withdrawals lol. But instead of getting a wireless stick to get through until the nets back I just put the extra to Jade for the win. I can watch the videos any time. :-)
 
I am very surprised with the support that Ed is offering to Jade. I mean, I´m still no trust him and his feelings for Jade. But the thing that he has been supporting her so much from the outside is a fact, and I can´t deny that I like it. In his instagram has uploaded a couple of videos of Jade´s fans ,and even Jade´s cousin has thanked to Ed his support from the outside.

BTW I love when you guys speak in Spanish hahahaha :o

Yes, he's been very supportive so far! Have you guys read the recent posts on the Jade Albany Pietrantonio facebook page? a message was sent to the page about fans who attended the VIP Screamworld event the other night and went on the Giant Drop with Ed and apparently he was screaming out Jade's name from the top of the ride at the direction of the BB compound at Dreamworld hoping she would hear him.

Good on him. And it's even nicer since it's his fault she is not a shoe in to win. :p
All jokes aside I think he is making an effort. I still stand by my thought that he does have feelings for her. I don't know if it will go anywhere in the real world but I believe that he is willing to at least try. I don't like him but I saw when things changed for him and know guys like him. You can only be who you are, no more and no less. Let's hope the real world Ed is more deserving of our girls love if she decides to stick around to try it out. <3

While I'm not a fan of Ed, I knew there was more to the relationship then Big Brother made out. I'm glad I defended them to people by saying that obviously she see's something in the relationship. The idea of him doing that is really cute.
