On second thought I can't blame Jade for falling hard for Ed. He is such a fascinating fellow isn't he? Loved by all her fans and most neutrals, he does indeed have a lot going for him. Ed's looks were just the bait that lured her in, completely understand what she sees in him.

Not from me :)

I've said a few times in here that physical attraction is important, but that's not to say it's all about being considered good looking by the masses
What I find attractive may not be what the next person finds attractive and isn't necessarily looks... It could be scent, smile, eyes etc. But the initial attraction to sometime is almost always physical.
 
I don't get it at all!! You know when you see a new couple and they are sitting together and everything is cutesy and playful and there is constant back and forth between the couple? Well. Not these two, they sit in near total, completely uncomfortable silence. There are no little jokes between them and they don't seem to have anything in common at all. They are the most unromantic and awkward couple I have ever seen

Is this sarcasm? Ed's looks are all he has. Beyond that there's nothing, no imagination, no personality. That's why he and Jade spend so much of their time together staring at the walls.

I was merely attempting to highlight the fact that Jade doesn't seem to have fallen for Ed for anything else besides his looks and if that isn't the definition of a shallow person than I don't know what is.

I thought it was obvious that Ed is not really interested romantically in Jade but since he's left with no friends in the house any more...well Jade's better than nothing so she'll do for the remainder of his time in the house.

The dude is not averse to some physical contact, Jade's a nice looking girl and not many guys would resist rubbing up against her if given the chance but that is the extent of his interest in her which he has been very unequivocal of from the outset.

What compatibility? The guy is barely tolerating her because he doesn't wanna be Neville no mates in the house. Are you watching the same show the rest of the country is?

Theres no denying jade wants him, she's attracted to him physically and for what little there seems to be mentally
They do seem compatible they're both boring as hell, but at least jade has a caring side

Compatibility does not mean feelings are reciprocated lol

To put it simply Ed would not agree with you that him and Jade are 'compatible' and that's what I'm basing my definition on.
