Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

My hubby never watches BB and has never liked it. This year he has been pretty outraged by some things and that's saying a lot when normally he doesn't care. Because he is on the sofa normally on the ipad or something he catches parts. He was the one that pointed out that Jade clearly knew what flag was Italy, I didnt have to say anything. At the time he didnt know who was who of course so it was more a "She knew what one it was, she went right for it". And one day when Tahan was bitching with Drew he was like "see this is why I dont like this show, that's disgusting. I dont know why you like her". I was like yeah honey, that's not Jade lol.

He saw the Mik thing Tahan did and was like WTH, these are adults? I was like yep... I make him watch some things, which he hates but its always the really good stuff that he cant stop laughing at. Like the Jade boob grab and the ice-cream freeze.

He works pretty long hours too, even more so at the moment thanks to people being on holidays and his 2IC was fired not long back so it gives me something to do. He just laughs at how into BB I can get and even makes fun of my "girl crush" on Jade. :P I was like seriously, can you blame me and his reply was "I am not going to answer that, either way I get in trouble" lol.

But what I object to is when they start projecting personality traits which aren't hers. Like trying to make her into a raging bitch and a bully etc (like wtf?) It is so strange to me when I read that.

I also don't think people understand the difference between making frustrated snarky comments occasionally and maliciously making fun of and ridiculing someone. It's always been the laughing at others part that makes my skin crawl.

I know who I'd like most to have my back if I had to choose one housemate to have as my friend.. and that's Jade.

But i watch for entertainment Tim and Tahan are my favourites but along with Boog theres no way i could spend a day with them without loosing my shit let alone live with them lol

Its funny you should say that. I have been all OMG Tim is so funny and my hubby even went as far as saying "you think he is funny but you would be a wreck if you had to live with him. I was like you bet lol. Funny to watch but there is no way I could live with him. :P

Looks like Tahan and Tim have been plotting something behind Jade's back re the her number of times up for eviction comment and Jade has found out according to the "Tense Jade" video. Unfortunately the convo gets cut short by a no doubt grovelling Tim. Hope we'll get more context if they actually make it a live feed entry.

Yeah I saw that. Also they're planning on giving her chocolate with chilli in it because they know she can't handle it. Jerks, seriously.

But seriously? 'Okay Tahan you're right' is that what she's wanting to hear? Why make such a big thing of it still? Get over it.

I agree with Ed that Tahan wants to be able to say she survived the most evictions, but Jade was right, it's not a good thing being so unliked by your fellow housemates. Shame that Australia has such bad taste.

I'd really love for Jade to put those immature brats in their place. She should have called them pathetic to their faces. What's with Tim sitting in on Jade and Ed's debrief?

I don't really mind this stuff as long as everyone is laughing about it and it is not cruel.

I'm sure the psychologists will be interested in this behaviour. There were two groups of four and one has been picked off one by one. The group of four have almost instantly started taunting the group of two. Bitching about them last night, flour in their bed this morning, talking about putting chilli in Jade's bed, "accosting" Jade today. It serves as a good lesson.

They were not saying she shouldn't be upset about it, of course she would be, she is a mother. The point was that we are talking about Tahan, who has brought person after person to tears and said some nasty things that I am sure other people's mothers are also upset about.

I do know what it means. I don't agree with calling Tahan's mum "stupid and hypocritical" just because she was upset. Nothing will negate the nasty stuff Tahan has said and done, just don't personally attack her mother for the very natural reaction she had.
