Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Just catching up and scrolled through the DS thread. Not a mention that Jade's mum has been evac'd but pouring praise onto those that are bidding for the 'artwork' for NSW RFS... yup.

So glad the sweetie made it through :D

That would be so amazing! I would really love that, she has been such a nice person and never did anything vindictive or cruel. Please let Ed/Boog be up tomorrow, thats my next hope.

The best part of tonights save is that Jade now officially has stayed in the house longer than any of last years housemates, thats pretty cool! :)

My hubby said the same thing and he doesnt even watch the show. He was like umm, why dont they put some aside?

Its common sense to most people, just not them and their fans I guess.
 
Hopefully Tim and Drew will pick another target thinking they cant get her out. Fingers crossed they go for Ed again. I am sure Boogs will be up and Drew or Tahan if we are lucky. I hope she is not up again but if she is I will have to do my best again. <3

Yeah I agree. I don't mind spicy food now but it took me a long time to get used to it (funnily enough it was while living in Italy). But before that my mouth would feel like it was on fire at just the tiniest bit of chili for whatever reason. If I was cooking for others who liked spicy food, I'd remove mine first and then add the chili for theirs. And if others were cooking for me they did the same. That's just common courtesy I thought.
 
Yayyyy Jade is safe! It was a predictable eviction but that didn't stop me from feeling nervous.

Jade's a sweetheart and I'm so glad she's gotten this far :)

I don't think they cared, that's the worst part. They knew she wouldn't like it, yet did it anyway. They seem to enjoy tormenting her lately, especially behind her back...

Let's face it, the only reason they put so much in there was because they know she can't take it.
Then made such a fuss of how great it was etc.
Eyerolling here to the extreme tbh..

You know, Ed has been a lot more demonstrative with Jade, even in the last couple of weeks. I don't think it will work outside, but at the moment, in there, I think they are each other's rock. He does genuinely like her and values her as his friend, and recognises how genuine and loyal and caring she is. I think he screwed her up at the beginning and that's what people will always remember (including me) but things have obviously come a long way since then and I don't wish bad things heaped on Ed any more (not saying the same for his brother though).. I just want her to outlast him still.

I thought Maddie made some good points tonight too regarding the supposed 'fun' group - that type of on on on personality would be tiring and shallow after a while and would be in itself boring if it was all you got from them. Just shows how much BB isn't showing us considering she talked about what good conversations she had with the others. People look at it so black and white - every one of those people has been shown laughing and having fun and letting loose at various times. I know it's fun for people to watch in a snippet they're shown on television, but living there I'd be driven nuts if there wasn't some quiet times as well..

Plenty to think about tonight anyway..

People will have their opinions and that's fine. At this point in the game I'm not expecting to change anyone's mind - I'm glad this thread exists here though so I can read all of your thoughts.

I got into a huge fight with idioets on the BB facebook page because they were going on about Jade having to make stuff up to seem more interesting. The footage was so funny and just how she said it was lol.

SO TAKE THAT IDIOTS ON FACEBOOK hahahaha
 
How do you all think it will work out with family and friends nominating? Who will they get for Jade?
 
Slightly off topic but does anyone agree with me that Jade doesn't have the best taste in eviction dresses? I'm not a fan of the red one or the white one for her skin tone, especially with the bright lights of tv. She could and usually does look so much better.

Just read the awkward 'I love you' update. I guess Ed doesn't have anywhere to run. He's obviously not on the same page but funny how he wants to know if it's only the type of Katie and Lucy I love you.

I agree. My thoughts on Ed changed. I dont think it will go anywhere but I do think he cares about her and at this point they only have each other. At least he is doing and saying things to make it look not so one sided, not that anyone but us will notice. ;)

I dont get people like that. Its one thing to have someone annoy you but they are so full on with the bitching. And then they wonder why the others feel weird walking into the room. Dont know about you guys but I can tell when people have been talking about me by their reaction when I enter. They are not stupid, they know its happening. I wouldn't want to "play with them" either.

Her mum maybe? Or possibly a good friend? I hope they get to see them briefly cause poor Jade (and Tim) never got to see anyone for the freeze task.

I just hope shes not up tomorrow (I know full well she will be though). Tahan, Tim, Drew and Boogs family will all give her at least a vote each.

We all knew it. There is no excuse so I hope they have something waiting. We all know Mik was at dream world and the SS or even Ben would have come in for it. So the whole "she has no loved ones" that the haters are saying is just not good enough.
