CASEYBB I usually agree with your posts but you've lost me on this one. Gay as a synonym for something negative is very offensive. People have made it that way, and it's sad. I thought only young, immature people used 'gay' in that context. That's my opinion, you can disagree.
In her defence CASEYBB wasn't actually the person who posted it, that person took the cowards way out and left CASEYBB to battle it out (in a mature way)
But to anyone who finds themselves having to explain why something isn't offensive to the majority who believe it is, it's no longer about 'opinions' if your having to do the coward run or explain yourself then it's time to re-think your choice of words

It is fascinating to me that Jade has committed the grand sin of falling for a guy who doesn't return her feelings and BB takes every opportunity to treat her like crap for it, and yet these two, who had an incredibly dysfunctional relationship and, in fact, seemed to thrive on that dysfunctionality, are to be celebrated, since, evidently, Tully couldn't get her GF to take her back. Okay.....
Do you guys think Jade gets a family visit? If so, will they show it? There isn't much time left and tomorrow we have the Drully reunion, and I'm sure at least a 15 min package devoted to the "Jade tries to get Ed to commit but he's not interested but she's going3 to stalk him anyway" thing that we've seen play out on the feed today.
And I'm probably paranoid, but I'm very suspicious of the topics Tim and Madeline were picking for the family dinner tonight. They seemed very relationship directed and the one about what if your BF won't show pda in front of his mates, seems particularly pointed, since Ed didn't start reciprocating with Jade until his friends were gone.
I would be amazed if Jade's mum went in. Abundantly clear the show hates her and as I mentioned in the ds thread she's vocal of her criticism and is quite cynical about the show now. She walked from Italia's Top Model citing unhealthy eating from her competitors - effectively critical of the show... i
Just don't think she'll be able to stay in Oz after this. Burn the witch!! Not too dissimilar to Estelle's treatment tho her bully was the winner.

Peverell, you said toilet humor was something like immature, lame and GAY. So please explain that? Cos I know you didn't mean to say immature, lame and fabulous. The gay was a synonym for something negative. *confused*
You already know that too, you corrected me to say I meant geigh and upon looking that up I realised you were right but I always spell it as 'gay'

You know, for all the talk about Jade being so stuck on Ed, I was thinking today how Drew has needed a partner every step of the way in the house. First Jade, then Tim, then Tully, now Boog. When he's been without a partner is when he's been the most lost and insecure. Once he finds that partner, he seems to completely focus all his energy there. It's not a surprise that Tim picked up on that and used it as a weapon against him.
On a different note, has Jade ever hosted one of the Family dinners? I don't remember it if she did.

Yeah I thought the same thing. I'd be very surprised if they send any of Jade's family in. Or even if they did I'd be very surprised if they show it.

Since it was you, I know you didn't mean it in an offensive way cos your posts always seem quite well thought out. I was honestly expecting you to admit that you were wrong in saying that. I would use 'geigh' in a much more lighthearted context if ever. Never as a synonym. I really thought you had just put your foot in your mouth and you were gonna apologise but you still seem to think everyone was silly and overreacting which is disappointing.

Yes with horrid Heidi. They had to do that snake thing.

OMG, I just realized that Ed probably got on his moral high horse and bitched about Tully and Drew to Jade which will not go over well with the viewing audience.

A thread about toilet humour is as lighthearted as it goes and for the last time I was using it as an adjective not a synonym. There were people on both sides of this discussion, not everyone agreed with the (gay=homosexual only hypothesis). You have still not read my initial post above properly, I know that now. I'm gonna let this go.

Yeah she did with Heidi, the snake task.
You are right about Drew the sidekick.
I hope that Jade will get a visit from a love one. It will be great if her dad could come but I'm not sure if she will be able to handle it though if it's her dad. She probably haven't seen him for a lot longer than 3 months.

There was one person on your side. Adjective makes it okay? I have read all your posts properly and tried to understand your point of you, but for the life of me I can't. *moving on*

It's funny how Tahan goes on about it's just a game they shouldn't get upset but remember when they had to give up some of their possessions she got really upset about it. A bit of a double standard.
I think it wasn't about giving up her things, but in her eyes tahan thought she gave up more and that's why she was annoyed and had a rant. Just my opinion of how I view it anyways.
Btw, nick kissing jade hello? Thoughts anyone? I'm not sure about it yet. But I do think he showed more personality and was much more touchy than ed would be

Lol fanny burp.
I laughed too. Feel like a child again saying the word boob and laughing as if it is the funniest word ever.

Firstly, I don't think Jade WAS upset about the Garden of Eden thing so I don't feel like being defensive on her behalf.
Yes Tahan went off about the giving up her things and I found it funny because they were only eyelashes etc.. but the fact is, she had her say and got over it. Don't have a problem there.
As far as Nick goes, to be honest I'm not gonna lie, my middle finger may have pointed at the screen as soon as I saw him.. can't stand him..

She seems to only bring out the it's 'only a game' mantra when it suits her but she doesn't think about it being a game when it is going against her way.
