It's just that I would think most people's answer would be HELL NO. I don't think there's anything normal about this particular situation..and can't remember there ever been anything as one sided as this on BB before. To me both Ed and Jade are acting very strangely.
No one ever wants to be the Jade, it just happens.

I have been on both sides, and while having a Jade is good for your ego, their adoring eyes get real old real quick. I had a Jade for a couple of years, just used to text him for a shag when I was lonely. Didn't end well.... never does, no matter which side you are on.

Personally, if they don't make me feel special, I don't get much out of it. Agreed, it never ends well. Especially when the woman is doing the pursuing.
When I was a Jade, I once broke into my Ed's house and stole his aftershave!!! I think back and cringe, although when I was the Ed to one of my Jades (I have had two), I seriously had to get a restraining order out on my Jade!

Not really. Definitely not the Ed. Maybe a Jade from afar. Nothing as full on as she is though. But then I don't look like her so...yeah. Never willing to put myself out there in such a bold way. I guess I always knew I'd be rebuffed.
Oh my fave fairy, I have been the unrequitee.... It took several years. I bonked him in the end. After ... 5 years. Wore him down. There was dope involved (not just me!!). Many years of adoration; a genuinely nice guy; hell, he even broke my heart to my face. Would still walk the world for him; but the sexual attraction is null. If he called, I'd be there. But I'd actually ask permission from the hubby - who is everything "superman" is not.
I hope Jade survives Ed. It has all the hallmarks of my obsession - couldn't see fault, etc (even thinking "oh, wow, condoms in the bedside drawer? SWEET! Rather than ... er?) I'd love to share a bottle-o-pop, and some perspective.
*ps, I adore my current bearded man. Despite him loathing BB as "dross". I just like that he thinks it's "dross", rather than "shit".

I loved this guy from when I was 15 to when I was 19 and when I finally got a steady boyfriend, he decided then to pull the "I love you" card.
