Yeah I agree. They don't want to 'back a loser' or something. I used to enjoy Tim but lately he's really been grating me. I think it's since Ben left. I wasn't a fan of Ben but since he left Tim seems to have doubled the cockiness. Not attractive. I really think that Jade is the most genuine and internally beautiful housemate left. So I would love for her to win.

I agree. I think what happened was he thought Ben was the strongest of the misfits so when he left he was like ooh no, better change sides. Since then he has not been the same, even look at his face, both last night with noms and the lunch today, he knows he went against what he said and even though what came from his mouth was rubbish you could see that he got it. I liked him back when he didnt care about winning, now thats all its about.

She has done it before. She never let Ed's thought come between her friendships. She respects his choices but does what she wants. In that situation I think she was just happy to have someone sticking up for her for a change, not sure if you noticed but in the past even her friends in the house have stayed quiet and let her cop it. I dont like Ed at all but it was a nice change. Just a shame that he turned it into his own battle.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but as far as I'm concerned I wish they were exes already. I don't want to see Jade hurt at all but she's a stronger woman than she realises and doesn't need that wind up Ken-doll. That's just my opinion anyway.

I am not a fan of the pedestal she puts Ed on, that's for sure. I think in the house, he does her more harm than good most of the time. However, I don't think his involvement with her is nearly as nefarious as has been suggested and I can't fault her for being open to the possibilities, even as I wish she would pull away from him.

I think my main problem with him was that he approached everything with a view to how he was being perceived on the outside - and this has coloured my opinion ever since. I believe that he has genuinely grown closer to her - but I also agree that his actions have caused Jade to cop a lot of criticism. Yes she was persistent, but clearly now her attentions aren't being rebuffed and yet this is what people continue with - deluded/desperate/stalker etc etc etc when it's obvious that they have moved on in there even if this forum hasn't.
In my mind I still blame Ed for how he was to start with, which puts me into this protective mode about Jade and the hate she gets (people see this is strange, but if people don't care about housemates why the heck do they watch?). At the same time I don't like how he tells her to confront people with this or that when if he truly knew her he would see how uncomfortable that made her.
I don't blame her for being open to anything, even if she doesn't expect it - I just wish it had played out differently from the start.

Its so hard coming in and having to catch up on everything. I want to quote and agree with everything lol

I dont like Ed BUT I have thought for a while now that he was more into Jade then we were being shown. It was the little things easy to miss. I dont think he is good enough for her and I dont know what will happen outside the house but I think Ed is in this thing now too. Who knows what will happen, I know he was the worst thing to happen to her in the house in regards to the other housemates and fans but if she is happy and something ends up happening after the show I wont be unhappy for her. She deserves to be happy and he seems to be into it also, I just don't know how much is to better his game and how much is for real. I guess time will tell. (I share a flaw with Jade of trying to see the best in people, please forgive me lol)

As for the hate OMG. God forbid you say anything nice about Jade. I have noticed today though that the Jade fans are starting to talk up, even over all the hate. Its nice, almost like a little reminder that we are not alone and to keep voting.

I find it amazing that the people on the live feed thread claim they see Jade doing all these things that I have never seen her do I have watched every show more than twice, on ch9 and later on GO, and watched every LF video, they must be so much more observant than me, or is it that they just make it up as they go along. hmmmmm or maybe they are the only ones in Aust who have a secret live feed.

Same. I think I blame Ed for that too, and for ending Drade . I have seen a change and I am trying to see it from where she is sitting. We all make mistakes and learn from them. some times our biggest mistakes can end up being the best thing that ever happened to us. I can hope for the best anyway. I dont think Ed meant to be how he was, he is clearly not a heart on his sleeve type. He doesn't let people in and the fact his x waiting so long for I love you backs that up. I imagine that under the hard shell there must be some type of soft middle, he did seem really protective of Jade, whatever the reasons. When the noms were on the bench at the start of tonight's show his face was one I have not seen before. I think he honestly felt her pain. Maybe she is making him a better person.

That's what frustrated some people so bad and when those people confronted them the backlash turns against them. One bad argument after another.

I have been commenting based on the clip of the lunch confrontation and on reports from the show. Having seen the whole thing, can I just reiterate how scummy I find Drew? Sitting in the kitchen, asking her how she's doing when he really doesn't give a darn? Ugh. And then tonight on the live feed he tells Ed once again how he admires his ability to let things go and now says he's learned from him. What a fake guy, after his DR rant about Ed and Jade made it clear his real feelings.

On another note, Jade's good heart shone through when she rushed over to comfort a crying Madeline even in the midst of her own turmoil. She really is a class act!

It sounded like Ed was choking-up when he was defending her in the lunchtime meeting, I think he was really hurting for her. Just like Tahan accused Jade of not being her true self cause she wants a career on the other side of this, I think it's the same situation for Ed and his career. Not only is he not a heart on his sleeve type but his sister warned him not to get into a relationship in the house no doubt because she knows the producers will show every pash and doona dance.

I just went on the LF thread to catch up on BB and the hate and nastiness in there is really confronting when you've been away from the forum for a couple of days. I'm really sorry that stuff was said to some of you who were only putting forward your opinion and defending Jade. The attitude of "You can have your opinion as long as it agrees with mine otherwise fuck off" is so obvious it's not even funny. I hate it when posters run out of nasty things to say about a HM so they just mock their fans instead.

This bugged the heck out of me. Jade was obviously & genuinely upset, and Drew couldn't have given a stuff. He has turned into a rather unsavoury character. Could someone please review the lunch talking nominations vid the part where Boogs asks him were you friends with Jade then (when he picked her instead of Tim) a bit more then he says we became very good friends and its ....gone past that now as you all know.
