Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I think one day bb will make them nominate face to face, then the results will be interesting either they will try to get as many people up or just 3.If that's the case then you would want to be last to nominate.I just hope Jade is not up against the two Ts (3 norminees situation). Oooo they are having Showdown now(LF) .This will be the last showdown and the winner will be grand champion. No mention of nomination superpower only night in PS,$5000,and a very big trophy.Maybe they are all up for nom next week,or the one evicted gives the superpower away.

I hope Jade wins ! She nearly always makes the finals somehow, very game savvy! Also I hope BB does make them nominate face to face soon. Another wish for this week is that Jade finally confronts Drew like she was discussing she would with Ed. I don't care that Ed is motivating her to do it because I think Drew's ways need to be revealed to everyone, including Tim, Tahan etc

It's sad how much I am hoping Jade wins that $5000. If not her, I want it to be Mikkayla, since I don't think Mikkayla won actual money in her other wins, and, since it looks like she's going out this week, I want her to have something.

As for confronting Drew, I think Jade needs to talk to him one-on-one in a nonconfrontational, calm manner and ask him why he has become so hateful to her. I think she needs to ask him, point blank, if their friendship is done. I think the worst thing she could do is confront him from a "game play" stance, because he'll just BS his answer and walk away. I think she needs to use the example of him betraying her to drive home the betrayal of their friendship, and ask why he would do that to her. She needs to point out, calmly, that his behavior has led her to doubt him, something she has never done in the house before. She needs to leave everyone else (Ed, Tim, Tahan) out of it and just discuss their relationship, or what she thought it was. I suspect he'll still just mumble some inane excuse, but that's it.

As for "revealing his ways", I'm pretty sure everyone knows what Drew is doing, certainly Mikkayla, Ed, and Madeline do. I think Tim, Tahan, and Boog won't find anything wrong with anything Drew does because right now they're on his "side" and they'll think Jade is ridiculous for even bringing it up. That's why I think it's best to confront him alone and keep the focus on the destruction of their relationship, because I think Drew has a ton of anger built up against Jade, for a variety of reasons, but if she confronts that anger head-on, she might be able to at least get him to let up on her so they can peacefully coexist, rather than live in this passive-aggressive cloud of anger and resentment on his part, and pain and disappointment on hers.

It's not sad at all that you want jade to win that $5000. She sounds like she has hit rock bottom financially and realistically that amount isn't going to be life changing but at least it's something.

I'd love Jade to win the $5,000 but I think I want more her not to take Ed into the PS. So if that means not winning showdown then it's a sacrifice for her own good..

Oh I forgot about that! I can only imagine the bb production having fun with this

It would be horrid. I don't want to watch it so I can only imagine those who don't like Jade will go off.. please please please don't let her go there with him.

As far as Drew goes, it's my honest opinion that he resents Ed and dislikes him - both for originally taking away Jade's attention and then having that fight with Tully and telling her that he couldn't be trusted. I think he is frustrated with Jade by proxy because of this.

Whenever they spend time together one on one they seem to communicate together just fine.

While I may object to Drew's comments regarding Jade and seemingly bitchy remarks at times, I've thought about it and feel that it comes from a place of frustration because they don't talk rather than actual dislike - and Jade is responsible for that as well.

Who knows what will happen when Ed goes next week (yes I'm using visualising techniques here!)

Well, unfortunately, from the latest video, I don't think Jade won and I think there's a good chance Tahan did, since she's so sociable and perky. Otherwise I think it's one of the guys, since we haven't seen them on camera.

Here's a funny thought...if Ed did win, does he take Jade into the PS? My gut instinct is he would not want to spend that much time alone with her, but the only other possible option would be Maddie, since she hasn't been in, and would he really want to publicly make that choice??

If Drew wins, who does he take? Again, Maddie would seem to be the best option since she's never been, but after the convo this morning, I would think he would be reluctant. Then again, maybe that's why Boog is ratting Madeline out about her crush on Drew, to make him feel even more awkward. I would love it if he and Jade were in the finals so he took her, but as much as he seems to hate her these days, I think he would just take Tim.

Edited to add...I think there's a good chance that if Jade DID win, Ed would tell her to pick Maddie to go, saying he had just been with Tahan, and this would be Maddie's only chance to go, therefore, I think Jade would pick Maddie, so I'm not worried about that aspect of her winning, which I don't think happened anyway.

One thing that has frustrated me about the whole Drew, Ed, and Tim conflict is that Jade has ended up being the toy they fight over. I wish we could have seen the part of the Ed/Tim conversation when Ed brought up to Tim that his pursuit of Jade, which Tim was kinda claiming was a strategic move to get Ed to commit one way or the other, hurt and confused Jade, because she felt she was put in the middle (which she was). That part of the conversation was only part of a written post on the OS, so I have no idea how accurate it is, but at least SOMEONE was acknowledging that the battle for male supremacy was impacting Jade.

Even now, Drew's bitterness towards Jade feels a little bit like a little boy claiming he hates the toy he didn't get and really didn't want anyway, because it was just so lame and pathetic. I'm not sure he's thinking of Jade as a human being, or just an object he didn't get. The sad part is, Jade was really hoping she and Drew would become closer again, and I think she would have made time for him. We see her chatting with people other than Ed (though not as much recently, with this division) and we saw at least 2 different conversations between Drew and Jade, so I feel like she hasn't been completely unavailable to him. I don't know that as much blame for the failure can be placed on Jade as Drew. Maybe a small portion, but the majority is in on Drew and his constant disparaging of Jade. He's so negative about her that he can't even stand to be in a group with her.

The HMs and Justynne linked Ed spending more time with Jade, moving into her bed, etc, to the arrival of Justynne, but I think in part it was a response to Tully leaving and Jade expressing to Ed the thought that she and Drew might get close again, which happened at the same time as the intruders arriving. Ed didn't want anyone else playing with his toy, even though he really didn't have an interest in it himself.

I wish BB would give Jade the chance to get rid of the "Wardens" for the house by completing a task of not talking to or about Ed for a set amount of time, without telling him or letting the others know what she's doing. I think it would be a good way to bring the house back together, because she'd have to seek out conversations with others, and would have to try to bring groups together so it's not obvious she's avoiding him. I also think it COULD be a chance for Jade to demonstrate to the audience that there's more to her than Ed and that she's willing to do this for the "house".

Not going to happen, but I can dream, right?

Yes, absolutely. The reason it frustrates me so much is because she obviously she cares about the three of them, but they're using her in their power plays against one another and the person who keeps getting hurt in the process is Jade. Although it's unlikely a huge part of me wants to see them take one another out and Jade ends up on top.

On the live feed they're saying it's likely Tim won showdown and is taking Ed into the PS.
So this may be the chance Jade needs to have a talk with Drew in a non-confrontational way.

The problem is that there are at least 2 other ladies (Madeline and Boog) that want face time with Drew, so I don't know that Jade will be able to get it, unless Drew makes an effort to get her alone, and I don't see that happening.

Unfortunately, we have another opportunity for the show to bring up Jade's Ed-obsession, since he will be out of her sight for 12 hours or so and she already doesn't seem like a happy camper.

Ugh yes please! That's what the PS was MADE for, for Jade+Drew to go in there together hahaha. Seriously though, I can't believe they weren't in there together once by now. First time when Jade won she was thinking of taking Drew but took Katie & Lucy in the end cause they were up for eviction and hadn't been in there. Then Drew chose Ben for the same reason and now weeks have gone by and Drew & Jade are not even talking. There goes that dream

So true and so well expressed. Sigh, why did it turn out this way?

This could work two ways if Tim takes Ed. He points out to Ed how much Jade likes him and also causes Ed to move away from Jade, leaving her feeling very alone. she will only have ?Maddie and Mikkayla.

I think Ed knows just how much Jade likes him which is the annoying thing...I think basically everyone, including Jade, has told him how far the feelings go... I think Ed will always have his guard up in regards to Tim and anything he says in regards to Jade he will automatically perceive as Tim just trying to rile him up or stir things up in the house.

Yeh, pity the final rounds seem to involve some sort of thought process.

In the last vid. vying for their dinner, Maddie sitting so close to Ed. Ed has his arm along the back of Maddies chair.

I really think they both like one another. Maddie seems very similar to Ed and Ed loves himself so it makes sense I guess ahaha.
