Your avatar I think is the nicest picture taken of Jade in the house. I'm sure Drew would love to keep that one but somehow I think Tully may have something to say about it. haha

I know - I love it! It's pretty recent as well so I was surprised to see how close they look in the photo despite all that's happened. It's from the school-themed late night feast and also Tully's last week.

I agree with you about the preparation for the outside. On the Octoberfest night I saw her trying to catch Ed's eye twice in one video to no avail. Then she was asking about his opinions on her and the groups outfits again to no avail. I think she's probably noticing that the relationship isn't really progressing and is coming to terms with it. Has anyone else noticed that Maddie and Ed often seem to be sitting next to one another lately? Jade said during noms that she thinks Maddie is great, I wonder what Ed is thinking. I know he wouldn't go there in the house, but it could be reinforcing his belief that Jade is not his type.

I recon they should get together. I mean if Jade is not his type why does he keep pursuing it? It's very selfish of him if it's for reasons such as maintaing a showmance especially if he can see that she's obviously smitten with him.

I assumed it was from the early days, i'm surprised Tully didn't tear them apart. :-) Not sure they'd be so cosy these days. From the convo this morning it sounds like Jade has finally woken up to Drew.

She has! - and she's not happy! Haha, she became so feisty during their first confrontation when he passed on the Tahan comment. She stood her ground until he had no choice but to tell her it was him. I'm really hoping her next confrontation is like that as well. I think he'll end up regretting it because at the moment he thinks that she's quite unaware of his behaviour. Losing that ongoing loyalty from Jade that he has always taken for granted might be a shock to him and maybe he'll try and resolve the situation.
 
Maddie said Ed ticked all the boxes in her preview. She also said she will persue something she wants till she gets it. Maddie has sat next to Ed a lot and has positioned herself within his view on a lot of occasions. He told Drew Maddie was not his type.
I do not trust Madaline and I hope Jade cottons on, Not only about her friendships with Ed but her position in the game.
In the diary room Maddie has made it clear she does not like Jade.
She is also saying she does not like conflict etc etc. Huh She's a Lawyer isn't she, maybe she does not do court.

I keep changing my thoughts on his feelings for her. I'm still convinced from the early days of the half way house when she was up for eviction and he kissed her through the bars not once but twice, that there is something there for him. I think all his Jade-hating friends kept them apart, Drew actually stated this the other day to Boog. I also think that his reluctance to have a showmance after talking to his sister prior to the show also held him back. I think Jade's persistence and his friends leaving and his desire for companionship led him to throw caution to the wind. But his comments to Tahan in the PS that you make do with what you've got in here was telling. I believe he is doing just that. I think he likes her but he won't settle for less than perfection on the outside. He stated this when talking about marriage. I think he's quite happy to have the companionship, a snuggle buddy in the house, an ally, but that's all. I think he is also realising that it may help him in the game and he knows for sure that dumping her now will harm his game. I think what he's doing is totally wrong and that he is using her, but he justifies it to himself because she adores him and he does likes her. I think its been bad for her game especially after Ben left as I believe she and Tim could have been the final two. However due to her recent bad edit I believe it will be Tahan and Tim.

They continue make them look bad. but do not show any deep and meaningfuls, surely they have not only discussed Tim.
I do feel though that Ed will feel bad the way they have portrayed Jade, I don't think he is that heartless. Guess I am going on the way he gets annoyed at how Tim treats the girls.

There are no excuses for the way Ed treated and still treat Jade. He mocked her with the guys. The put down talks he had, where he was telling her that he wasn't interested in the way she was. At night he was in her bed. Now he is nicer because it is the end of BB, he needs support in the house, and needs to please Australia. He knows what he is doing.

I will always have a soft spot jade. Always! She was the reason I created a user name and joined these forums. In spite of all that has changed, I do think she is a good person.

Unfortunately being in that house where he appears to be the alpha male (i could say so much about this, but ill behave lol) she believes that he is the good guy and so do all the other girls except tahan because she knows what ed has said in the house and knows his truer nature. The thing is he knows jade thinks she isnt good enough and he kind of sets that belief in motion even more so in a way. He doesn't want to commit and tells her this, but if you know someone sees you as so much more, do you play with that? That's where I am relentless in my belief that he simply doesn't care and takes advantage so to me he is nothing more than a douche!

Thankyou btw, I'm still a tahan fan so watch it ;) lol.

I never thought of it this way before. I think you're right she is preparing herself for the rejection and I actually think that is incredibly insightful and shows that jade isn't as delusional as everyone thinks she is. I honestly do think she is blinded by eds persona but not by the relationship.

Yeah that's the weird thing, he seems to have these great morals but then he uses Jade essentially. Like I said I think he has justified it to himself but he will be shocked i'm sure when he hears how badly Jade has been portrayed in all of this. Even though they are now pretty much together in the house, BB and Sonia are still making her look obsessed, deluded, etc. I think that tomorrow's episode is going to be another bad one for Jade as they'll probably show the radio task where their PDA's were discussed and no doubt riduculed. A BB suggested topic too I think.

"If she's still here Wednesday night and I'm gone, I'll die," fellow Nominee Mikkayla whispers to Jade in the Kitchen.

Meanwhile, after a snarky comment from Drew over dinner, Jade has 'eliminated' any remnants of their crumbling friendship.

"I'm glad that happened," she tells Mikkayla. "He's totally gone."

I'm glad too Jade. You finally realized about Drew´s "friendship."
 
So happy she's finally opened her eyes re Drew. I'm not confident she will with Ed but at least this shows that despite what people say Jade isn't completely deluded. She just is when it comes to Ed...which is a bummer but unfortunately I'd be lying if I said I'd never been through what Jade is going through now with Ed. Maybe not to that extent, but not in an environment like the house with no outside perspective either.
 
Is BB personally showing her in a bad light because he wants her there in the final 4. Hoping the Jade fans will get their backs up to get her in that position. Reverse psychology?

I really just think it's because she hasn't been up for noms in a while and they usually give the good edits to the housemates up because they want to encourage people to spend money voting for them. Unfortunately in BB world the best way of making housemates look good is to make another look bad. I reckon Jade will get a decent edit when she's up for eviction next. You'd think so anyway. With the amount of LFs and daily shows that revolve around her they probably need her for footage.
