It's pretty poorly guarded for a social media engine, to my knowledge there's very little in terms of security (secret question, phone number etc).
All that's needed is a password and there are hacking programs that can easily get passwords.
In saying that I think some use 'hacked' as a scape goat, just like how people get blind shamefully drunk claim their drink was spiked.
Yes I was wondering about the scapegoating issue - maybe I'm naive, but I can't believe someone would go to that length over a tv show (ie hack twitter)
