The Big Brother schedule for the season does rely on them having the exactly right number of people in the house. Some kind of shuffle is going to have to take place, and it's a bit late in the piece for a "replacement housemate" now (which has been done before, but way earlier in a season).
Having both intruders stay would be an easy, logical option. We might have voted in a poll, but it hasn't cost us anything, so all good.
If they were planning a double eviction any time soon, then they're laughing, cause all they have to do is make that one a single. Maybe that's why double evictions do get scheduled into BB seasons in the first place... as a bit of a buffer for the unexpected.
As far as the voting goes... we really can rule out all of the housemates up for eviction, because the voting lines would be shut down, very quickly, for sure. If someone up for eviction walked, Ch 9 would probably use a combination of offering refunds for those who apply with evidence how much they spent on votes, and a donation to charity with unclaimed proceeds from the votes... a situation that becomes more of a nightmare the longer you leave it. That's pretty much how Ch 10 got around it on Australian Idol when Cosima left. And the big questions that time were "When did they know she was walking? And how much time passed between them finding out, and the phone lines closing?". It would be a really bad look if the BB and Ch 9 had reason to be awkward about answering the same questions. Not going to happen.
I know I suggested Boog and Madaline having to choose between themselves before... possible, but it would be a bit rich making announcements that a "housemate" had left, rather than an "intruder". We all know we're going to be jumping all over them for that if that's the case.
Not many people left to choose from after all that. So yeah, it's definitely Jade, Nathan, or Mikkayla (unless BB are grossly misusing the word "housemate").
I guess my money would be on Nathan too, if it weren't for the words "game changing" getting thrown around. Surely they wouldn't want to lose credibility saying things like that about their lowest profile housemate... makes them look silly as a wheel.
I entertained the idea of money on offer in a temptation game of some kind... but a decision to take the money and run isn't a "sacrifice" at all.
Anyway, I'm down to Jade and Mikkayla.
