Housemate has quit

all of these reports of people saying they have seen the housemate out in public, are silly

There is no way, the housemate would be walking around in public.
they will be in lockdown, un till tonight

i dont think its nathan, and i hope it isnt him.
 
Kyle Sandilands only lasted a couple of days and took off without saying a word to the HM's. If I recall he went stir crazy without cigarettes.

Smoking is an extremely hard habit/addiction to overcome and it's highly possible that Nathan just didn't cope. He appeared to have become withdrawn and teary in the house.
 
didnt they used to allow housemates to smoke within the house?
im sure season 1 and 2 had housemates who smoked, and they were able to smoke within the walls outside

or they gave them gum and patches

As a close friend of Nathan I can tell you that there has been no contact with any of his family or boyfriend so you can stop the speculation as I am sure he would of been allowed to make a call.... as for those saying he is weak and left so he can smoke I can say that Nathan has stopped smoking on many occasions and wanted this way too much to leave for a smoke... if he left he left for a good reason.. Nathan is a amazingly gorgeous person who has handled more than a wanker like Tim in his life and would not allow that wanker to ruin his chances in the house... I agree if BB wants it a secret they would hardly allow him to be viewed by the public ... my thoughts are Ben to be honest... but if it is Nathan then we get to hug him soon so YAH!

Tim. A bit bored of having to be the puppet master all the time. Might be feeling it a bit that he has been snubbed by two of the girlies. Buddy Drew has drifted. (altho he still seemed on fun terms w Ben - unless Ben 'cut him' - and his rocks and moths and other insects). Knows he will have a job in the entertainment industry whether or not he wins. Doesn't need the money. Rocks and moths available outside the house anyway. Has cut a deal to co host rest of season. BB has signed him on

Kyle also is a migraine sufferer and at the time there was no caffeine in the house - which triggered a migraine. I felt really bad for the guy

Even if it were Jade, it's completely and utterly impossible IMO that it would be to save Ed. The voting hasn't been suspended so obviously there's still an eviction. Not sure how it's actually possible for her to sacrifice herself for him when the eviction is still going ahead. Even if she somehow thought her going could help him I doubt BB would let her. They know that Jade is worth more money to them in terms of voting than Ed is. She might have left for another reason and sacrificed herself so Maddie could say but I really doubt it. In one of the last updates we got yesterday she was saying she could see herself getting closer to Tahan if she stays on Wed. Doesn't really sound like someone who's planning on leaving, unless there was a massive blowup afterwards that caused her to want to leave.

Gum and patches don't work with everyone. Gum works for me but when get really stressed I run straight down the road for a pack, smoke about 5 cigarettes in 5 minutes then give the rest of the pack away. If it is Nathan and it was the cigs BB should have just given him a smoke or two.

If I was in the house with some of those nutters I probably wouldn't have lasted either even with the gum.
 
David Campbell's trying to get it out of Sonia on Mornings. If I didn't have to go out, I'd watch and try to study her body language. (I know, sad.)
 
I really hope it's one of the original housemates because If ch 9 are hyping this up just like thy did with the whole misleading Tully thing then that's just a cheap! I have a feeling its maddie who sacrifices herself since she seems nice enough to do it ...but fingers crossed its ed...maybe he got wind that his got all these competition dates on the outside ao he wants to fulfill those commitments ...hmm.
 
If it's Nathan it will be interesting to see how it affects the next round of nominations, as he was pretty much a dead cert to be up and if they're consistent Maddy and Boog will be immune as Nathan was last week. The Superpower will suddenly hold a lot more significance.

I think I read that Channel 9 do the promos and the producers have no say in them, so the 'sacrifice' stuff and the hyping should maybe be taken with a pinch (or quarry) of salt.
 
I'm convinced it's maddie. She is clearly not 24 and closer to 40. Can you imagine a woman of that age surviving in a house full of children? Now that the initial attention has worn off and the housemates have seen close up the fake tits and teeth she wants out.
