After her comments in the bathroom that she wanted to outwit and outplay the weaker characters in the game, i think she thinks she's on Survivor. This was part of the actual conversation that led to Jade and Mika's comments. They didn't appreciate being called weaker players. Did they get an apology?
 
I don't know if Jade could remember or not - I think she felt really uncomfortable and confronted because it was in front of other people.
That conversation should have happened just the 2 of them.

She's too up on her stupid high horse with her stupid 'I'm better than you all' attitude.
GOD, I'm surprised Jade and Mikkayla were able to hold it in so long. If I was in the house I would've snapped it weeks earlier and said much more terrible things to her.

Why would they need an apology about that?! She didn't mention Jade or Mikkayla specifically.
 
People are judging her harsher because this outburst seems uncharacteristic of her personality.It was a momentary lapse of judgement(due to frustration and stresses of her best friends leaving,normination and what Mikk said)on her part but it never was her intention to hurt anyone.She gave a well meaning apology.Sure she made a mistake(she's human after all),does this one mistake make us forget what type of person she is after following her journey for over 2 mths.Surely everyone of us would have said foolish things at one point in our lives?SHE WILL ALWAYS BE A GOOD PERSON AT HEART.One thing said by one person is not indicative of that whole person.

She doesn't need to apologise as she was the one nominated and had the highest nomination points for the night. Besides that incident does not equate to the comments made. May as well have Tim apologise too.
 
One thing for sure - I think it's amazing how passionately we feel about these people and what goes on day to day! I'm going to miss it, and this place, and the people on here (well, not everyone haha) when it's finished :(

On that note, off to bed. Hopefully we'll have some FUN things to comment on tomorrow x

Tahan was talking strategies (and it's a perfectly valid one) because BB is competition not a summer camp. Even if she was implying Jade and Mikkayla are weaker players I still don't see why she should have to apologise for it. Mikkayala has said plenty of times she thinks she can beat Tahan which implies she thinks Tahan is a weaker player. Do you want Mikkayla to apologise to Tahan as well??
 
Tahan have said similar thing about the girls. Way back she told BB in the diary room that she will bury those girls, meaning the sisters, Mikkayla and Jade. No one was up in arms about it, people just thought she was feisty and that was just her game face. I know two wrongs doesn't make it right. But geez if I was Jade I would have lost it on her ages ago. How many snide remarks has she made to Jade that Jade just pretend to ignore? The "just joking" thing really gets to me.

She has been getting the sympathy edit since she cried in the diary room and BB told her that Australia loves an underdog. We all know that she has called Lucy fat that was never shown.

I don't have much sympathy for Mikkayla either but at the same time I think she got really hammered in the past especially when Heidi and the rest of the cool group was still around so now is standing up for herself but might have gone too far. Can you imagine if the situation was reversed and the cool group was still around and Mikkayla was the one left behind with them? I think it would be a repeat of last year. The difference I see between Mikkayla and Tahan is Mikkayla can get very bitchy when she is upset/annoyed whereas Tahan seems to be very happy when she is bitching or mocking people, it's like sport with her.

I honestly think Jade is so much better than this two and I hope she is the last female standing.
 
It's a standard rule of Big Brother outside of the strategic version that weaker female HMs are more popular with the female audience than stronger ones, I suppose they see them as less threatening lol. Sad but true.

My point was that Tahan wasn't the only one offended and she is not a saint. Where on the apology meter Tahan's comments fell, i'm not sure. But all parties were offended and when you dish it out on a grand scale, you gotta expect a bit back.

I think some of those people are just reacting in the heat of the moment too or maybe they weren't really a fan.

I really don't see how in this case it was started by Tahan dishing it out but we don't really need to get into it as it's not really relevant. My point was that Tahan implying they're weak players doesn't warrant an apology IMO.

Also because this is a Jade thread I think I ought to make it clear that I saw Jade's remark/joke as an off-hand comment and not some attack or threat but IMO Mikkayla definitely had venom behind her words.

I would also add that none of them are perfect and they all bitch. Which I really don't see as that shocking or wrong, because after spending two months with the same people (and cut off from the world) you're not going to have much else to talk about than each other.

It was a poorly worded version of "I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire". If there is anyone in here who has honestly never thought or said out loud something along those lines then shoot me now because I just met a saint...

Shut the front gate! Tahan cries in the privacy of the diary room so she can play the victim card and manipulate the whole of Australia.

And obviously she can't seek comfort from anyone in the house because she's spent the last 2 months bitching about each and everyone of them. So who's problem is it that she doesn't have anyone to turn to?

BS. If you are going to argue like that then Tahan was trying to manipulative the audience by trying to get sympathy and she has been doing it for few weeks now. Every time some little thing happen off goes Tahan to the DR hoping to get sympathy.
Don't come in here with that rubbish.
 
My god I think a lot of people are overreacting to Jade's comment. Everyone becomes so noble and righteous in the privacy of their own home behind their computer. We've ALL said something like that in our lifetime without having true intent behind it.It was an offhand comment and she even said after she was joking. People need to chill! haha I felt for Tahan though! in many ways she brought it upon herself but it must be hard being in their 24/7 knowing you have no true allies, but a lot of true enemies.
