Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I don't think he's safe at all. Just remember that just minutes before the voting lines closed he was tied on 15.1% with Ed. It was only his spa thing with Tim that got him up higher. And Tim isn't going to help him get votes this week, quite the opposite...he's made it obvious he's going to target him. Also Ed's family are going to pull out all the stops this week.

The facebook likes/twitter followers stuff really means nothing, as seen by the voting percentages. And I can bet that 75% of those people that "like" Drew's facebook page did so back at the start when everyone loved him. It doesn't mean those people will still be voting.

He's certainly not safe. This is going to be a bad week for Drew. Tim is out to get him and the girls are on to him with the back stabbing. Ed could easily get more votes than him if he gets a good edit and with the family thing.

It's all good for us to say that we should save money and just vote for Jade when she's up next, but look at it this way: If Ed doesn't leave this week he'll be there for another 3 weeks at least, maybe a month if Mikkayla is up and keeps declining. Jade's chances by then of making the final if Ed stays will be absolutely shot regardless of how much money we have saved to vote for her.

That's just the way I see it though haha.
 
In all that you forgot about Tully, now that they are going to live happily ever after she is going to want a next egg for their future ;).
Also can I just add that I thought it was funny how Tim is "out to get him" and the girls are "on to him with the back stabbing" hahaha. Maybe Tim caught onto it too. ;) I dont think Tim wants to go after Drew, not this early on anyway but I think he has a brain and saw how Drew put the two pairs up against each other this week (Tim & ED and Mik & Tahan). He wasn't very smart about it either considering everyone noticed and voted for him. I still think he is safe, I could be wrong. I guess we will find out soon enough. :)

I've always felt this way about the facebook/twitter religion. It's the stockmarket for the gullible and more often than not they end up flat on their noses.
I don't know the statistics, but it seems that the majority still cast their votes according to the footage they see on TV and possibly the updates.

Tully said that if it was vote to evict she'd have a very high phone bill because she wants Drew out ;)

I hope you're right about Drew being safe. It's not like I love him anymore or anything but Ed needs to be out for everyone's sake really.
 
Ed is always checking up on Jade. "What are you doing - Where are you going. - Are you all right - What is wrong" Showing Jade as the chaser may not always be the case.
I sometimes wonder how old or new the footage we are shown is?

He's actually been that way since he moved into her bed, and even admitted to BB that they had moved on from friends to special friends. Yet people still keep on the bandwagon that she's pursuing someone and they aren't reciprocating. I'm surprised my eyes are still in my head considering how many time I've rolled them at those sort of comments lately..
Doesn't mean I want Ed to stay though, he can take his cards and go this week hopefully :)

I think the same thing. BB has a very wide demographic of viewers, from children to even the elderly. Social media is only a snippet of the voting public. A lot just watch on TV but have no idea what's being said on social media. My mother for example watches the show religiously and adores Ben and votes for him but wouldn't have a clue how to access the BB facebook page or Twitter. Just look at how Drew's percentage jumped from 15.1% to 17.1% in minutes on Wednesday just due to his spa thing with Tim (even though he didn't really participate and it was all Tim). It really just goes to show the power of a good edit.
 
She is the most talked about housemate, thread after thread written about her. Lots of people still talking about what happened weeks ago. My eyes have also be rolling @ Insomniac.
 
I have a friend who was like "I love Heidi, was a beautiful strong kind loving woman" and I was like ummm, she is going this week. OOh no, why would people not save her?? Umm, coz she is a B and a bully and is mean maybe?? And she was like SHE IS NOT bla bla bla. lol

I was like ummm, how much BB do you watch?? "I watch it on TV when I can". Enough said lol. I told her she needs to watch more BB or stop talking like she knows whats really going on (the conversation was about Jade being an airhead/slut and Heidi being a god). So many people only watch the tv which is why I get so angry with BB for making Ben and others look great and making Jade look bad. And thats another reason why I panic every time Jade is up because you just never know.

But in regards to Drew A. Tully was joking, she wouldn't never vote to evict Drew. ;) and B. Drew is cute and everything aside, young girls vote like crazy which was pretty clear with the last min Drew saves. ;) If Drew fans can make that much noise in that amount of time then we are kinda in trouble I think lol

As for the Spa thing I have to put my hand up as guilty! I myself went to post on the facebook page after watching it with a lol @ Tim + Drew. Before hitting enter I realized I had done the same thing!! I was giving Drew credit for Tim AGAIN lol. So I made a comment saying funny how we keep forgetting its Tim who is funny and Drew is just along for the ride like the rest of us. -facepalm- I do the exact thing so its hard to blame others for forgetting that fact. ;) At least I dont ever vote on instinct or without thinking. ;)
 
OOh and before I forget again, so glad BB checked on Jade and that Mik got the t stone out (gross she swallowed but thats normally how those end lol). Cant have our girl walking around with bad breath. ;)

Certainly not criticising anyone for buying into Drew's involvement (or lack there of) in the spa day. I myself found the whole thing very funny and I think in a way Drew does make Tim funnier because it gives him someone to feed off and encourage more jokes. Just pointing out that if it wasn't for that Drew would be on the same amount of votes as Ed and he probably won't get something like that to boost his numbers immediately before lines close next week.

If Jade & Makk fans vote for Drew & Ed, then the possibility of Tahan going home might increase. I think this may the best chance to send her home.
 
We need Ed to go home though, he is the one thing pulling her down in the eyes of the public. Her chances of going further is increased by Ed leaving, as much as I cant stand Tahan. I would never vote Tahan though, happy to let the Tahan and Ed fans have at it. ;)
Either way a good outcome the way I see it.

BB has been trying to portrait Jade with a desperate image with Ed relationship & the editing supports such assumption.
They cut the message from SS to Ed which includes some talk on his relationship with Jade. You guys are cute & adorable...
 
Her best HMs SS just left this week. I'm afraid that she will be devastated if Ed leaving next week. People still favors Jade more than player Ed, so he may go b4 her.

Also, just want to add that its kinda smart of her to not save Mik when you think about it. Mik is not very trust worthy as a friend (dont forget past events).

You have to give her credit, she is pretty switched on with people. She knew Drew was playing around, picked up on a lot from the others too. I wouldnt be surprised if she knows where she stands with Mik.

Its just Ed. She SEE'S NO EVIL with that boy. Its time to go Ed. She will be fine, Tim and Drew have been her support from day one and believe it or not I think Tim can take her most the way with him. He doesn't see her as a threat so once Ed is gone I think he will take Tahan and then Mik down with Jades help. We can hope anyway. ;)

I agree, ed is ruining jade. She was so much more popular beforehand and bb focused on her heartfelt convos. Now whenever jade is mentioned or shown on tv it is related to ed.
 
Finally got to watch last night episode. SO glad Jade is safe for another week!

- Interesting to note that Jade and Drew nominated Tahan and Ben for exactly the same reasons. I don't know what Drew is doing at the moment, I feel like he needs to verbalise his intention either to Jade/Tim or even just in the diary room because he is starting to look really disloyal. Tim has now nominated him and Jade is really questioning their friendship. It is such a dangerous game he is playing.

- It was actually a very good superpower despite the fact the she couldn't save Ed, which is what she really wanted. I think a lot of us here are glad that she couldn't save him. Karma I say. Picking Tim, Tahan and Ben's files was a great decision. Now she knows that Tahan and Tim will totally cut their BFs throat when it comes to this game, no loyalty what so ever. I think she picked Ben because he is such an unknown, it's a good opportunity to find out what's really going on in his head. She would have had a rough idea on who Mikkayla and Ed would have voted for. Drew's nomination she assumed he would vote for Ed but she would hopefully figure out by now that he didn't since Ed's nomination points was only 4 (from Tahan and Ben). She shredded Tim because he voted 3 points for Ed(although fully knowing that he is in trouble) and maybe was hoping Drew could be saved as well. I think she would have known by then that Mikkayla would most likely be safe, only Tahan would really vote for her.

- It was good that we finally found out what happened to that thing that was stuck in her throat. Too cute.

- Hopefully this time next week we won't have to listen to Ed talk about his cards! Funny how Sonia kept having a dig at Ed.
 
dont who i want out more ed/tahan

ed- because if he leaves she can get back to her old self and people may start liking her more and has more chance making it to the final
tahan- shes starting to become more popular will be hard for jade to beat if they are both up for noms next time and this week maybe a chance to get her out as she is up with other big characters such as tim, ben and drew
