I'll be the first to admit that Mikkayla can be bossy, and yeah she's assertive and isn't afraid to speak her mind. I do think there is a double standard though, there's a difference between being bitchy and outright mean. Tahan is outright mean, and not even in an entertaining way. I'm not crazy about the Sugar Sisters, but damn does that girl have some sort of vendetta against them.

Agree. It was interesting to note that in the "rate your house mates task" her HMs initially put her as THIRD most annoying...I think that says a lot - that they don't like her BUT because she's been saved so many times they are aligning with her to keep public on their side.
Also, I find that Tahan "bitches" out of frustration, where as Mikk actually spews venom and hatred when she "bitches" about someone and that's why I have never fallen for the sweet girl act.

Mikkayla only been saved twice by the public, Tahan 6 times.
I think the housemates believe she is much more popular outside but she hasnt been in the top 2 of voting either time.

I have liked her for along time (not everything about her but on balance I liked her more than not), the tide is swaying now tho and I'm starting to get irritated by her. Still a lot to like but some aspects are wearing thin. I can imagine would be hard to live with in the house - awesome cooking skills aside

you people here , do you even watch live feeds to piece together what ch9 edits out on the show? or do you just sit there and get spoonfed by them? i guess you dont , her tripe was with tim and tim only during the genuine task , and they talked about it l8r and worked it out , but NOOOOOOOO ch9 wont show that they only show the negative shit for mikkayla thats all they have been doing for the past few weeks just leaving all the other stuff out , im sorry to say but whether mikkayla leaves or goes on Wednesday im done with this show its biast rigged and a complete pile of shit the show should not control who stays and goes and not control what they air negative or positive to keep who they want etc , its just so really unfair and i have had enough , they are picking sides they want mikkayla gone so they only any negative stuff and arguments , im tottally sick of this go to live feed to see the turh fuck this im out

lets get this out once and for all cause it will be my last post , tahan gets saved for her looks and her looks only , if you had her personalty on a ugly troll bitch , she would have been voted out in the 1st week , i want to smash the screen every tiome i see her face and here her talk , she is the MOST hates housemate for me in bb history of 10 seasons i disliked her from the first moment i saw her enter the house , i have a sick feeling in my stomach whenever i see her on screen , i disliked her before i liked mikkayla which is why i like mikkayla so much. i wont be watching the show anymore after Wednesday , but when i here tahan is evicted im doing a happy dance.

Hello, I'm sure you are a nice sensible person but I'm a bit concerned that this TV show is having too strong a personal affect on your emotions in a detrimental way. You seem very very genuinely angry.
All people in the world have good and bad traits and/or moments and shows like this do have production crew with agendas etc. We all (HMs or Viewers) come into the 'game' knowing the score and get taken along on the ride. I'm sorry if your not enjoying it anymore and I hope the anger fades quick for you

Nah Tahan probably only gets saved because she has a rich boyfriend... Apparently it doesn't cost that much to save a housemate each week.. Less than 5k.. That's chump change to the rich.. And it's like an investment considering the longer someone is in, the more money they'll probably make when they get out...
I truly believe at least 70% of her votes come from her boyfriend ...
But I haven't googled him yet to see just how rich he is...
A lot of people say doctors are rich, but they aren't really.. 100k a year is nothing in this day and age..
Rich to me, is like..oil tycoon- wipe ass with hundreds -rich... Not "I have a little extra money to buy luxury toilet paper instead of sandpaper" rich..
So it he is the latter, then I guess she really is just getting by on her looks.
I just don't think she is stunning enough to have snagged a super rich guy..unless he is wrinkly..but he's not..hes only around her age..so he is probably just luxury toilet paper rich...

I don't know if I'm the only one noticing her strategies of: "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and "Imitation is the best form of flattery"?
Eg...
- Tully kept getting saved so she started to blubber a lot to get the sympathy vote.
- She befriended Tim and he taught her his manipulation tactics to get further in the game.
- Heidi was popular in the house with her posse so she decided to form her own.
- Tahan kept getting saved so she started to escalate her bitchiness to the next level.
- And too bad she's 100% taken otherwise she would have deffo cracked onto Drew or Ed by now.
- Don't remember if she's tried to get rid of Ben but I do know she's pissed off with the obvious preferential treatment he gets. She doesn't find him to have many redeemable qualities either.
The thing is that she's going about this the wrong way. She may be exacerbating everything because she believes that this is what the audience wants to see. The power has gone to her head and now she looks like an annoying hypocrite. She even has the nickname "Mikkwailer"!
I really did like Mikkayla, she was one of my faves... she's cute/funny/random, a good singer/dancer, and a great cook/cleaner but the vitriol she is spewing these days is despicable and I cannot fathom watching her on my screen anymore. I think it might be time for her to leave.

As a high school teacher, Mikkayla would be super-aware of the destructive nature of peer pressure and bullying tactics, yet she led the charge against Justynn in an appalling display of systematic bullying. All of them (except Tahan) treated Justynn horribly because they felt they had permission to do so without repercussions, because he was universally disliked. It was like the Lord of the Flies in there, and Mikkayla was the worst culprit. His treatment was very revealing about the HMs true natures and sense of ethics, also showing Tim to be way more conventional than he likes to think himself and weak under peer pressure.
But back to Mikkayla...I see her now as the house's alpha. Most of the others are intimidated by her forceful personality. Tahan is the underdog, and Mikkayla takes every opportunity available to try to undermine her to the other HMs so that no one likes or respects her. That is classic bullying.
Another reason I dislike Mikkayla is she's always so free with her opinion, never happy to just give it, but to try and force it down people's throats, but time and again she's shown her ignorance. Also, she votes Liberal, which isn't surprising actually, but as someone who cares about social justice, I find her politics repellent.
I feel bad for her body issues, but I think, once again because she's a teacher of teenage girls who have issues with self-esteem, that she's setting a really bad example and being totally irresponsible by publicly saying how she "hates" being Asian and "fat". And she thinks she's some kind of role model??

My mind boggles at why she thinks she, above everyone else, will win the game, considering she's utterly charmless, not in the least entertaining, and the least likeable person in the house. She's also been totally shit at training that dog.
