Why do people like mikkayla!?!?!?

She's such an annoying person, consistently condescending, rude, catty yet soooooo boring. She has the intellect of a child yet since she's a teacher has this complex that she's always right no matter what.

Why does she have such a large following, I DONT UNDERSTAND!!!!!

if u think that then you don't deserve a response , i can point out everything there is mostly wrong and lay 100 positive reason to why she is so popular , but i cbf , cause it wont change your mind.
 
would be nice if you could explain why i'm wrong? see i'm not like mikkayla and just ignore evidence that contradicts my view.

I agree with you but I'll give it a shot and start it off.

Mikkayla has not called anyone 'fat' or 'ugly', she does not care what people really think of her... she seems like a lone ranger occasionally confessing to the sugar sisters, howsoever bossy with people she is not rude in the sense that she knows how to speak to people without hurting their feelings. She has discipline and is not one to shy away from the body issue problems which she has faced. She's a strong character but highly principled in my opinion, everything has its place. This is one thing I love about her, she's got her affairs well organised not bowing to 'majority rule' or befriending the competition

So what you're saying is that you like her because she isn't blatantly rude to people and doesn't give a crap about what people think.

Yet you don't address the fact that she talks like she is better than everyone else, constantly is talking behind EVERYONES backs, and the way she treated justyn was appalling so I can hardly say she's principled. I also can not agree with your point that she has discipline, if she had discipline she would control her eating habits better if she doesn't like the way she looks.

I'm not saying that she is an awful person or anything just that she is possibly the most annoying person I have ever seen on television.
 
She treated Justynn the same he treated her when he walked in, soon as he stepped in he started on people and he knew he was going to get booted out anyway so in relation to Justynn's antics I say he had it coming. She holds her head high and doesn't let others walk all over her... I'm not sure why you perceive that to mean she is better than anyone else. Talking behind everyone's backs?! Just Tahan and Tim's at times... people that talk behind hers. As to the matter of eating habits that is beyond anyone's understanding...weight gain issues are well...issues lol. I'm not sure what behavioural discipline has to do with weight gain issues :s

How can I like someone whom I know is "blatantly rude" as you say? Doesn't make sense to me but it seems that you are fixed to these impressions which you have formed of her so I will desist from the discussion ...for now ;) lol

I think you're more interested in your own opinion than anyone else's.
 
one of the tings main things you need to understand is this and it is form tims points of view: From watching the show , tim and mikkayla kinds hated each other at the beginning. and there is a video of them when they went into the diary room together. and it seems after spending a short amount of time together they have a allot in common and tim miss judged her , and says " i had you wrong" and they became friends instantly over a short period of time. do you watch the live fees? if you dont you should you miss out on allot. But anyways. your miss judging her , as tim did before they became good friends , i even agree there are annoying things about her but they don't annoy me as much as other people , she is very definitive she stand out from the other housemates because she is not afraid , which is why tim said and i quote " i put you at #1 most genuine" . her laugh is annoying but it stands out , in regards to the whole bitch nasty comments , if someone made fun of your weight on national television and called u fat and complemented on how after u eat you think your fatter , how do you think you would react when the person apologized but didint say that she said a certain comment , and find out l8r what she did? , IN regards to Justin cant you understand he did all of that on purpose to get a reaction form her , if someone spoke to you like that and came in and tried to takes things away from you you have grown close 2 , you cannot tell me you would lie down ant take it , otherwise you'd be a pushover. and she aint no pushover. The reason she banded together with the sisters and jade , is because they all where on the receiving end of tahans cruelty and nastiness , then of cause people. think they just joined up to hate tahan when it really was all tahans fault this happend when people suffer the same things from 1 person they will join together cause they have something in common.Her bossy side is because she is strong and wont be walked all over by other people, if you find that annoying and rude , i can understand those things , after all she is a school teacher but , in saying that she feels like she has to fix everything and everyone is her responebility aka kids in her class if she shes attributes of kids in a classroom in her hm her naturaly instinct would be to lay down the law u cant blame her for that as it is a part of her life.


this is why i didint want tp respond i can go on for hours but ill leave it here you make u your own mind which of course is yer own right to do so.
 
I think I like her for the same reason people hate her. She is such an annoying, bossy, bitch and I love it! I love how she annoys the other housemates. She has annoyed me these past few episodes though and I did prefer her when she was more of an underdog but at this stage, I still like her. The funny thing is I love Tahan as well. Most people are either Team Tahan or Team Mikkayla but I am definitely team both.

1. People see her as a victim of Tahan.
2. Her body image issues make her relatable to people who are going through the same thing
3. Her willingness to come out and say things instead of keeping quiet like Jade/sisters is seen as feisty and confident
4. She's a representative of the ethnic diversity in the house.

There are lots of reasons people like her. I'm just not one of them that's all. Go Tahan! Lol

Nope. Both are just as bad. They are still attacking a persons worth in some way. Jade is a food example. She may be good looking, but has self doubts because she views herself as dumb. I don't understand the argument about tahan being the bad one for poking fun at mikks body when mikk has poked fun of tahans intelligence and speech.

I agree with that. She is my favorite to leave the house and I don't think that will change. The more I watch her the more I don't want to watch her anymore.

so tahan mocking mikkayla eating then standing up and saying " oh no i have put on weight my dresssize went up" is not calling her fat? what is it then?

She also made fun of Tahan tonight. I understand she doesn't like Tahan and she mimicked her because she was annoyed.

I still like Tahan's personality a lot more than Mikkayla's personality.
