Yep, hence the cheerleader goes for the jock comment. Although it would have been better had she got with Drew or Tim, I hope their comments were jokes and that their actions won't be for malicious purposes or make Jade upset because last I read they were going to put flowers on her bedside and make it seem like they were from Ed. Would her reaction, thinking it was Ed, make her or Ed look bad? Depends on Ed's reaction...whether he goes with it or makes a comment that upsets her.

I can see your point, but the thing is though, it's not just Ed that Jade has made relevant. Drew's overwhelming popularity in the first few weeks was based solely on his relationship with her. IMo even Tim would be a but flat in terms of strategy/entertainment if Jade wasn't there. I find it so funny that Tim goes on and on about setting Ed up for a fall and disregarding Jade's strength, when in reality Ed is a nobody and she is the popular one. That's one of the only things Tim's ever misjudged. She's in the middle of so many SLs in the house even without Ed. She'll still get screen time, but perhaps without the annoying Ed bullshit. The only way I can see it being a bad thing is if she does a Drew and just mopes all day after Ed's eviction and stops showing the great parts of herself that made people like her. I doubt she will though. She's hasn't segregated herself like Drew has.

She had so much chemistry with Drew and even Tim .... but watching her and Ed just makes my skin crawl. There is nothing there. I really don't know what she's thinking. The longer he stays the worse it'll be for Jade ... because he leads her on and because the housemates don't understand them together either so they'll just keep messing with them.

Very true. I think Tim hit the nail on the head when he told Tahan yesterday that they're just not compatible at all. That's really all there is too it and it's why it's hard to watch.

Exactly! to everything, but especially the bolded comment haha. It's Drew's reactions to Jade that made him popular, and their interactions brought out the best side to him. I have not seen that side since. It's like he become another person with different intentions and not the person that originally everybody thought would make the finals. And in saying that, Jade gained more respect after Drew lost his loyalty to Jade, because Jade maintained her loyalty and has never said a bad thing about him.

And like you have said, she is the popular one in the center of many interactions in that house and she would only lose fans if she mopes around like Drew when Ed leaves, which like you, I doubt will happen because she has made other close friendships while still going after Ed unlike Drew who completely isolated himself with Tully.
 
Thanks for the replies. I agree, everyone in there seems to misjudge Jade's popularity and prominence, including Jade herself. It will be very interesting to see what happens once Ed is out of the picture. I too think it will do her a world of good overall. I just hope he does actually go now!
 
[MENTION=35734]Rom[/MENTION] I've read your pre-edited version so I understand what you are trying to say.Although this reality show does like to give airtime to dramatic events,it also does balance it with quiet reflective moments(eg Ben's monolog).So if Ed were to leave we will see different shades of Jade's personality(we have caught glimpses of it during the live feeds).She may not have a loud personality that shouts for attention or put on an act to show off, but she is appealing because she is REAL, in the sense that we have felt or gone through some of the things she has.In other words YES she is revelant beyond this Ed stuff.

Yeah, I think at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much speculating on Jade post Ed we do because I can't see him going. His stupid family won't allow it :(

From the way I read it I think the HMs have to rate themselves and Jade (in the DR) has to guess how they'll line up. I might be wrong though. I don't understand this task. Ed should definetly be "least genuine".

Neither ahaha! There's a new video on the OS with Mikki, and the Sisters talking in the aftermath of the task. Seems its caused another fight between them and Tahan. Mikkayla is also pissed with Tim for playing both sides and Drew.

Well Ed is a jerk - nothing new here!
And I find it incredibly ironic that Ed doesn't like the stereotype of the jock being with the 'cheerleader' because the guy is a complete fool. Ed fits the role of the 'jock' incredibly well, stupid, dumb, self-centred and has muscles. Jade on the other hand only looks the part but personality wise she's the complete opposite.

Tim and Drew are being complete brats. I think they're just both jealous because they dont have relationships (anymore), Tim tried with jade and failed while Drew's affair with Tully is now over because she's gone. Ironic Drew is annoyed considering he was far worse then how any of them have acted when he was with Tully. Shows the jealous brat in him! They've gone straight down in my books!
Poor jade :(
