Episode DAY 57 (Mon 23/09/2013) Live Eviction #7 (95m)

Tully will have her weak minded girlfriend back if that is what she chooses. She knew Tully was supper affectionate and always kissed people on the mouth. Tully will easily get her back in line after perhaps a little punishment for her insolence.

When drew comes out Tully will date drew while her girlfriend works late nights and her girlfriend will thank her

That is how some people are interpreting her interview (link above). I'll admit it's hearsay since I haven't listened to it yet.

Ah, okay. She definitely tries to diminish the romance angle (which personally I think is denial/CYA mode for now), but she also gushes about him and doesn't deny the friendship bond, at least. "Never wants to see him again" seems way off the mark.

With Tully now gone I wonder how they will spin tonight's Late Night Feast. Will they keep the footage shown last night of Drully kissing and what not in or will they spin the focus on to other housemates possibly focusing on Jade and Ed instead of Drew and Tully? The show will probably be a bore if they focus on Jade and Ed. I'm sure the daily shows and live feeds will now turn to those two.

Look, I honestly cringe at these two. It's very uncomfortable to the point I feel like I need to mute and fast forward. It has left a bad taste in my mouth that I still like jade, but She is no longer my fave.

OK thanks - I haven't listened yet, but apparently that's how some people interpreted - sounds more reasonable what you are saying, but I think she's going to have a hard time convincing people of her current spin when there's so much evidence to the contrary.

It will be interesting to see I guess - I can't watch either of these 2 couples (yuk!), but they may not have much else - apparently it's the last LNF though.

random thoughts... supplemental

- good on her for owning the cheating, full stop.

- far kinder of kyle and jackie than i expected - and surely within range of what could have been done during the post evicition interview

- drew is not a catch. he's a needy, emotionally unstable peter pan who will be great in the short term but let you down long term

- would have liked a question about bailing on last night's interviews/events

Ok - you're entitled to you attitude & I'm entitled to mine. I just think she shouldn't have been treated any differently than any other HM. And from what I hear she's throwing Drew under the bus saying she never wants to see him again now. I really don't think Drew believes that -it's pretty shittty & why I'm interested in what she has to say.to M,E it's always interesting to see how people justify/spin their actions from a sociological/psychological perspective (that's all). I may be wrong, but I think she'll have a lingering presence in the house for a bit (although I hope not!).
This isn't just any other housemate though, no other housemate has been under her level of scrutiny, it's not fair to just let her be thrown to the wolves because she was simply bad moralwise.
My guess is she's going to have a media gang coaching her on stuff for 48 hours or so before she gets into the hardcore interviews.
Even then, she isn't doing anything wrong...she's conducting the interviews like the rest of the previous housemates....she isn't obligated to answer the questions a certain way and she can refuse if she likes.

No Tully fan but FFS - really?????

It just wasn't what I was expecting. I'm not a Tully hater. She seemed pretty clueless to her behaviour in the house but when the questions on stage came she wasn't surprised about them at all.

And full credit to her, she didn't blame editing like so many do.

EDIT Just read in the radio thread she is blaming the edit.

I think he sounds like a guy who is pissed off as he thought he had the scoop of a lifetime.. turns out he has a scoop of poo and half an hour of dead air time to scrabble around and fill.

This has to be post of the month, if not the year.

Huh?! Jesus, BB people, follow a comprehensible timeline. Thanks.

Agree Melore. it was like wtf? and i don't get what the Garden of Eden has to do with Bert and Patti.
They looked ridiculous lying there singing happy birthday to a stranger.

Bert has been very unwell lately and it seems like this the best idea they could come with, so they didn't have to wheel him in on a hospital bed I guess.

What a bloody let down. Stupid bint tortures us for weeks with her shithouse personality, comes out and doesn't get one hard question thrown at her. And everything today will be weak as well. I really wanted to see her get taken down a peg or two, she really needs it.

Ah well at least she is gone, I seriously could not much anymore f-ing Drew and Tully - one of the MOST irritating pairings the world ever saw. No actually, I want her to suffer some consequences and I hope they are swift.

Also what is with that intruder dick coming in to take down Tim - what has Tim done to anyone that requires he be 'taken down' -exercised his grey matter more than the others? Good luck anyway buddy, Tim could probably care less and will relish in the challenge.

No matter how ill poor old Bert gets i think he will keep working. He's always getting a role in a new stage show; doing ok for a while; then next thing you hear he's back in hospital. As soon as he's out again it's announced to the public via a 4 page spread in Woman's Day.

I think he'll be going til he's 100 - which can't be far away -- as Patti and Lauren need spending money for Chadstone !

Interesting - where? At the airlines? Did you get any insight from them as to whether Ben is really as helpless & hopeless as he portrays?

Yeah they worked with him at the airlines. I think it was 1 main guy and then his partner and a couple of friends. They were sitting behind me but then got moved to the 3rd row so I didn't get a chance to talk to him. They were all wearing those shirts that Ben's mum wears and they've been selling them and using the money to vote for Ben. He said they've sold about 150 shirts. Mike interviewed him so that's how I know that but I don't know much else.
