Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Yes I know in the movie they do, but I also know they use special liquid to make the eyes water.

I also know in good movies, where the acting is well done, they practice crying thinking of something sad. It is hard to do and it is learned.

Normal people can't just fake crying like Ed did IMO.
 
In relation to the whole ability to fake cry on the spot, its quite easy with the right mindset. I can have myself bawling just by imagining myself in certain situations like my family dying. If you convince yourself the event is happening the tears pour out. Ed's eyes simply watered over which is pretty easy so I'm still out with the jury on whether they were genuine...
 
I feel quite sorry for Jade, she seems to have kind of been forced to isolate herself from a few people in the house (Drew, Tully, Ed) but remains on good terms with them. I don't think she's giving everything she's got (still) and needs to just drop the Drew/Ed affiliation and make the most of the friends she does have in the house because it seems most of the time she's just aimlessly gliding around from person to person with little effort.

I'm just afraid there isn't much depth to her, but the same could be said for most of the house. She's a nice girl, yet I still struggle to find a spark. I guess Jade is just a little bit of a plain jane, which is odd considering the experiences she has had.
 
I don't mind Jade. She's kind of...real, authentic.

Contrast with that wolf-in-sheeps clothing Drew, who Tim picked as a 'love rat', and Tim is one of the smartest HM's we've ever seen on BB.

Ed is a creep, I don't know why he is upset?
Thank God Drew is seeing the light about Jade. Jade is only happy for him and Tully. She is a good friend.
 
So Ed's crying yesterday over feeling guilty for putting Jade up was obviously fake. He really wants her to be up for nomination.

I don't know why he was upset either, he should have been glad Jade was saved seeing he supposedly felt so guilty? Either he thought Drew would save him and put Time up? (haha as if) or he felt that Drew made him look really bad in front of Jade by being the one to save her. Either way, was a pretty selfish response..

I was surprised Ed was so annoyed with Drew. Considering he said he was so upset that he put her up, you'd think he'd be happy. I think he really thought she would go before him and he seems to be one of the biggest game players. I bet Heidi is spewing Jade got saved.

I think when Heidi left she said "now you know what you have to do" and that was to nominate Jade

Saying he felt guilty was to maintain his Mr Perfect image for the cameras. If he was upset/guilty he wouldn't have chosen her to begin with. He also wouldn't have laughed like a hyena when Tim joked about Jade needing to take the hint re: him even nominating her to get rid of her.
The kneejerk reaction to Drew saving her sabotaged the pretense of the wracked with guilt nice guy. Maybe he forgot the cameras were rolling.

I really like her but yes I get what you mean that she is a bit meh as well. I have huge kudos for her for being a good person tho (corny as that may make me), although I would like to see her be a bit more of a prick to some of them cause some of them deserve it.

Side note: she looked like a supermodel sitting on the deck chair by Drew, and in the icy bath.
