Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Seriously, Ed is weak as piss. Jade left it up to him and he was the one who got into her bed, now he still turns around and backtracks, worried about his 'image'..
 
Can't believe how rude Ed is to Jade and she just takes it, to say she reminds him of his dog (ie: probably clingy, dumb blonde only wants to please him) she can do so so much better.

It goes to show that he may ACTUALLY like Jade but is just too self-conscious...
Or

I think you've got it backwards Sonia. We obviously don't know Jade's full backstory to date but I think it's fair to assume from bits of footage we've seen of her that she hasn't had too many knock backs when it comes to guys she fancies.

I remember Kay admitting in a girl group convo that she'd be intimidated dating a guy like Ed in rl but Jade quite flippantly brushed aside such a silly notion and gave the impression she'd easily hooked up with guys like Ed before, like it was nothing special.

This situation has arisen due to Ed lacking the balls of being upfront with Jade and telling her bluntly that he has no interest in pursuing any kind of relationship with her whilst inside the house. And it's quite obvious that Ed doesn't wanna do this because he fears it might hurt his 'prince charming' image and thus the perception of him on the outside.

If there's a victim here it's Ed being subjected to Jade's relentless sexual overtures but really he has only himself to blame for thinking too strategically rather come out be honest and put the matter to rest.

I would have agreed with this in a way if it weren't for Ed asking what her favourite sexual position was last night.

First thing Ed asked Jade last night when they were playing speed dating was what her favourite sexual position was. Then he hopped into her bed. Not the other way around. But yes, that poor defenceless Ed...
 
It's not unusual for platonic friends to ask them sort of thing though. I certainly would not be asking a girl I was keen on that question, it'd be very awkward and could come across as sleazy.

Nobody in their right mind would ask that question to somebody who they wanted to back off.
 
Using the favorite sexual position question against Ed is quite a reach. I don't think we've even got any footage of that, just a written piece. I also think Sharon's said they talked about sex a lot in the house, and it's not like others haven't been asked about their favorite positions. Ed also said yesterday according to those updates(that are used against him so often) that he's not looking for a relationship, so after saying that he can cuddle with Jade if they are both OK with it. Not the first HMs being a bit close to eachother with nothing too serious.

I agree that he didn't handle rejecting Jade too well at first, but he's now made his point to her if the updates are to be believed. People are just trying so hard to hate him because he's boring and Jade is popular.

I think Jade may just want cuddles or something and he thinks it's more serious. I don't know but I don't hate Ed, just wish he'd be truthful.
 
The truth is Ed sees Jade as the type of girl you 'hit it and then quit it' but that wouldn't go down well with the voting public would it? :cool:

Jade has a great figure and nice pair of you know what but Ed is well aware that anything beyond that with Jade would not be in his best interest whilst in the house.

I think you're right. Which is why I think he should have steered clear of her in the first place.
His constant mixed messages are not only unfair on Jade, but freaking annoying for us to have to watch! :)

Sounds like crap to me. He didn't have to get in her bed, Nor does he have to kiss her. His only reason for not going for it more is because he's worried about how it'll look to people like feral Heidi and the public. If he wanted to let Jade down he should try forming an articulate sentence and backing it up with actions. But no, he likes stringing her along instead. It's good for his ego. Piss-weak.
 
Jade has to wear some of the blame as well or we just give her a pass for being a stupid ditzy bottle blonde? Any idiot can see Ed is stringing her along. There has to a point when Jade says enough is enough and picks any remaining dignity she has left and move on. No, her persistence is partly because she thinks she's soooo good looking that Ed will eventually crack and fall under her spell. Hence why she gets no sympathy from me.
 
Jade is responsible for liking someone and hoping he'll like her. That's about it. I too wish that she'd give up on him, but for her sake nothing else. I don't agree with your interpretation at all that she thinks she's so good looking and that's why she keeps trying. That's in your head.

Jade has said she doesn't expect to see him out of the house and doesn't think he really cares. She isn't blind to it all.
