Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Can't believe how well Jade is doing in the vote - 22% first time around and 19% this week, though surely the Surly scenes constructed by BB to air before voting closed helped quite a bit.
 
I'm not really surprised that Jade is so popular. She's sweet and endearing, but at the same time has low self-esteem and no game when it comes to guys which makes her extremely relatable for viewers.

When I was on my Tim-saving rampage I certainly made sure to remember to flick Jade a couple too.

I agree!
I'd really like to see her flourish as an individual and put that love and care into herself rather than a man in the house.
And if she kicked Drew's arse along the way, then that would be a total bonus. :D

In fact, I'd like to see Jade and Tim become really great friends (as much as anyone can be a friend with Tim) and show that loser exactly where he has gone wrong :D In my opinion he has shit on his friendships with those two but they will have the upper hand when they go right to the end in this game and Drew gets booted out within weeks :D
 
Tim actually finds Jade very attractive so I think that Jade could easily befriend Tim and I reckon he'd be loyal to her with strategy etc.
 
After last night, I've been thinking that Jade actually has a decent chance of making the top 3, even winning the whole thing. But maybe she won't be quite so endearing when Ed leaves.

I doubt it. Have you seen the video of him laughing and whispering about what an idiot she is for leeching all over Ed? He has been quite nasty about her to everyone behind her back..

When she first came into the house he kept sighing over her.
And she is a bit of an idiot with Ed, even Jade knows that.
 
Yep ..I remember when the marriage was announced as a sham, Tim was jumping up and down yelling "Jade's single, Jade's single" I think he quite likes her too :)
 
I love that Jade is playing harder to get now. FINALLY somebody gave her advice. OF course it was big brother and not a friend though .... but I'm glad they did. Jade is going up in my eyes again. Getting better and better. Liking her more and more. And Drew is falling.
 
I really hope Jade goes all the way. She is so sweet. I just love watching her cos she seems to be a genuinely nice person unlike most of the other housemates. Kind of glad the whole drade thing didnt work out. Drew is so playing the game and hes nasty (or maybe BB is trying to influence us) but all I see is him gossiping about other housemates and then telling that person lol

I have really been considering this as a possibility lately. Even my mum who didn't really like jade at all last week sent some votes her way yesterday.
 
I think I realised why I hate Jade so much. She reminds me of myself when I was 18/19 and I don't look findly back at those years. So desperate for self-validation and feeding off attention from males. I actually pity her at this point. She has a lot of growing up to do.

Hopefully now I can look at Jade in a new light and not dislike her so much. Her biggest pitfall in the BB game is that she doesn't seem to have a good sense of humour and is rarely fun-loving. I think she'll go far (top 8, maybe 6) but definitely wont win.
 
Jade maybe in some voting trouble if she comes up against the sugar sisters. Have a feeling they have the same fan base.
 
I don't like the sugar sisters , but I do like the Jadester, hope she doesn't become as expensive as Estelle to keep , btw where' s U. A. N , he was ever a champion of the oppressed hotties.:D

Yeah , its interesting
I started out liking Tully but she became really vicious, nothing wrong with someone fighting back and sticking up for themselves it's just the style employed when doing it.
 
I think Jade's fanbase is a bit bigger than the sisters tbh. Hopefully people will find them more boring now that Caleb's gone so there's no Lucy/Caleb lovestory.
Also on twitter/fb I can see more support towards Jade than them, and I think many Jade fans ONLY support her whereas people who like the sisters are fans of both.

THIS! My God Estelle killed my bank account. I hate it when I hear people compare Tully to Estelle...they're completely different. I see more Angie in Tully tbh.
