he's allowed to change his mind, maybe he was into her and then decided maybe not. He told her he doesn't want anything. Geezus people. And she is still letting it be known she's still interested, apart from being a little embarrassing neither of them are trying to hurt each other.

The point is, he's quite clearly led her on and nothing was said.
Jade is understandably feeling rejected and vulnerable and goes to the person she trusts the most and she's suddenly a slut for it.
Jade does what most women have done at least once in their lifetime.

he didn't "lead her on" at all, he seemed to be into her, he decided against it and told her...he didn't string it out for a week, he told her straight away. Leading someone on is what jade has been doing to drew for the past few weeks. I feel a bit sorry for Jade but throwing shade on ed for not being interested in her is silly.

I think I get where you are coming from. I guess to me everyone has had an initial attraction with someone and then backed off/changed their mind (which Ed did with Jade). But Jade came across a bit differently as ultimately wanting Ed yet keeping Drew on the side. Ed just changed his mind.

Possibly another part of the reason people aren't bagging Ed is cause he hasn't (from what I can tell on forums) inspired that much interest from people. He hasn't done anything 'bad enough' or been 'interesting enough' so is more of a prop? I'm just theorising

I think Jade may have feelings for both of them but is a little confused (regarding drew) maybe she doesn't know if her feelings are just because of their marriage task.
I'm not sure really, maybe she doesn't have feelings for him, maybe she does...who knows.

She hasn't let him kiss her or cross the boundaries plus keeps calling him a "friend" all the time, to the point that even Drew was like, 'she keeps telling me I'm her friend- I get it'. He knew that Jade saw him as a friend back then, but Ed hasn't said anything of that nature to Jade and kissed her 3 times.

You'll notice I've discussed as much previously in this thread, yes I think Jade is leading Drew on...but shes at least far more obvious about her intentions, she keeps referring to drew as like a brother...that's friendzone 101.
However the problem is Ed gets a free pass for messing her around, while Jade gets all the heat for it.

However the problem is Ed gets a free pass for messing her around, while Jade gets all the heat for it.

I don't think he is a horrible person at all. I am just trying to make sense of what has been a very confusing situation.

i have no problem with the excuses everyone is making for jade's behaviour, but why isn't ed given the same consideration. He wasn't deliberately being mean...in fact he was trying very hard not to hurt her feelings and has only said nice things about her and how he enjoyed their chat etc...so why isn't he allowed to be confused or decide not to move forward with things if that is how he feels...if he was being a dog about it it would be different. He changed his mind just like everyone else does and can. Jade seems sweet and i can understand her support, but it doesn't mean ed is horrible for not being into her.

Yeah. He showed interest and she did too and then he backed off and it's now pretty clear from things that have happened he isn't interested. I don't think he actually did anything that bad and that's why he's not really coping any flack for it.

That's true, Ed has tried to be nice about it. They are both great people and so is Drew. I think the show itself is the basis of all this finger pointing....they all deserve a break.
