Ratings Thread 2013

Oh Lord. The 2008 series was rating better than this, wasn't it?

Enough of these 90 minute shows...
 
WOW. I was right. Slide Show was the top performing show of the night, and Big Brother did not have numbers anywhere near this bad so early in the piece.

I'm not surprised, reading these forums everyone was pissed and bored last night when not seeing real interactions and the crazy and confusing editing. I changed the channel during confidential. They better pick up their game soon or I'll give up.
 
Gee bad enough to cancel even if they keep going south like that.
Pondering how they would manage cancelling and chucking everyone out is more interesting than this show unfortunately.
And what a waste of a good cast. Will they just shove it on Gem?

You are so right. Honestly I wouldn't care if they cancelled BB now.

Last night I lasted longer watching BB just because I was in this forum, it made BB bearable; in the end I had to stop watching altogether.

I agree. I used to be obsessed with Big Brother... I was so upset when they canceled it back in 2008. However, if they canceled it this year, I don't think I would care.

Nine has taken away the magic Big Brother once had. I hate this family friendly format. It's obviously not working.

Me too. To this day every time I hear that little sound C 10 make sometime at the end of a program, the sound they made every time at the end of BB, I still feel nostalgic.

BB 2008 wasn't good only because the lack of sponsors, but it was still much better than BB on C 9

I am sad too, really sad. This year the HMs are good. This Alex person has destroyed BB.

Alex has been involved the whole time I think. I'm pretty sure at least 9 of the 10 series.

So it is really his fault. Why on earth don't they get rid off him? 2012 was bad, they could have made it better this year, but what do they do, make it worse (sigh)

I mean he was involved with all but one of the channel 10 series. (I think from series 2 onwards)
 
Last night was the final nail in the impending coffin. Big Brother has now been 100% killed since coming to Channel 9. If it wasn't for this forum being the only saving grace, I'd be saying that I kinda wish the show never came back after 2008.

And for those that have seen me on these forums over the years, that is a HUGE thing for me to say.

I just think it's really how I feel now. They've really shot themselves in the foot.
 
I really don't think Alex is the MAIN one to blame. It would be the distributor and Channel 9 and their demands on the show that's pushing a lot of the decisions. I think.
 
Horrendous ratings last night, but well deserved too.

These two weeks of Big Brother have been the worst in recent memory and it has nothing to do with the housemates. If channel 9 want this to be successful, and if the producers want to keep their jobs, then maybe they should start listening to us for once. The drop in ratings is no coincidence, it is a symptom of everything wrong with the show that has been pointed out on this forum. Even the most loyal of fans are getting close to giving up on the show now.
