...isn't the woman that's hosting the show the one that is married to David Tennant?... it looks like her... cheers.

No, the woman hosting the show is Zoe Ball.

This is David Tennant's wife...

Noooooooooo, she's PETER DAVISON. 5th Doctor's daughter, in real life, and played Jenny DT's daughter.
It's complicated:)

I do like him, he's fun - and a bit like DT's cousin

Unusual, they went for a bit more known actor

...Peter Capaldi played Caecilius in the Dr Who episode in 'The Fires of Pompeii' episode... here's what he looked like in it... cheers.

He was also in Torchwood.

Not a bad choice I guess, at least he's not a "celebrity".

Some odd choices of live guests - never heard of that kid or Rufus Hound.

...maybe he should regrow the beard and moustache for the role... an older Dr Who will put a bit of a twist into the Doctors character for a while methinks... and he's STILL not ginger!... lol!... I was thinking that the new Doctor was going to be either black or female or perhaps both at one stage or another... but an older Doctor may be good fun to watch... we'll have to wait and see I guess... cheers.

I think I will grow to like this choice. He was a fantastic actor in Torchwood, and hilarious as Syd's dad in Skins. He clearly has the range to pull off this exceedingly difficult role.
