Housemate #4 - Ben

Ben - when I saw his video on the Big Brother Facebook page, I took an instant dislike to this fellow, thought he might be gay, Woo (now confirmed) I suspect he is very witty but not very socially adept
Prediction - Ben will loose regularly to Mikkayla's clever and intercultural conversation
Update - Ben reminds me of me, quiet shy, likes checking out men at the gym

anyway, because of that I think he's putting it on a bit, like really? really? why channel 9? If he really was like that why would he want to come on BB and why would they put someone on there like him (if he was for real) where he will be made fun of so easily. He cant really be like that right?

I really really got a strong feeling I'd seen him on tv. I live in the boonies in Tassie so unlikely I've met him out and about. Though my sister did say someone on her FB said he'd grown up in Launceston so maybe I came across him there if he ever worked retail? Someone in the daily show thread said he was a Virgin Blue steward so maybe that?

I would have thought if he had been on TV some clever clogs would have said on here by now. They're pretty quick.

maybe there was some show about Virgin blue or some kind of plane show and he was on it? was there some kind of show like that?
 
Ben has had some funny moments I dont dislike him, but Im not sure he is genuine. I think he is a good actor.
Tim and him sure do get a lot of air time. Must be the BB favourites this year :p :D
 
Well when I watched Ben on TV it felt like he is playing a character to me. As if he is not real but fake.

Then when he came in the house he was wearing very fashionable clothes. At least the pants and it does not suit together. How he acts, his clothes. nah.

Eta: I now see whitetulips post (and Nat and more.. Yay! :D and understand I am not the only one who feels he is not genuine.

To be perfectly honest, I never hated her, I just found she had none of the qualities that attract me to a person.

I think Caspersmum is right. I found the one eyed Estelliban extremists who mingled in her apppricsation thread, to be far more unlikable than Estelle herself.

If I had to choose who I disliked more, it would be hands down the Estelliban, but that said, I really liked many of the posters who supported Estelle.

Me too! Although I do find it confusing when I'm not looking at the TV to work out when it's him talking or one of the girls. True story! NTTAWWT!

I'm hearing you sister!

I have had a few mental "well that awkies" moments when I have heard a distinct female voice, looked up at the tv only to discover it is Ben talking!
