Bullying

Sorry Tim, I shall now remove myself and think about my horrific and abhorrent behaviour, I shall return in hopes of achieving Estelle aka Queentelle enlightenment and humanitarianism, may the lavender be with you, meow

YOu sniffing something there ?? the lavender ? :)

The Ava situation is a perfect example of their collective bullying. They didn't want to know Ava they just used thst as a tool to try and inflict themselves on Estelle further.

Absolutely there was a clear group in that house that behaved in the way it was bullying. That the clique were holding discussions on how they should collectively treat her, branded as a meeper and should be nominated, doesn't deserve to be in the house etc, etc. They were never accepting of her and never tried too get to know her until it dawned on them that she might be popular outside because she was getting saved all the time.

I will if you stop infarcting me!

You are bullying by infarction I tells ya!

I had to manually reduce the number of infraction points I gave you with that one because it would have tipped you over the auto-ban line. Two days before finale - I'm not that much of an asshole.

Ha!

Hahahahahahahaha!

What gets me about the whole "bullying" of Estelle or whatever you want to call it is this - those doing the "bullying" surely experienced something similar in their lives?

Ben - Gay. Would have experienced vilification and homophobia etc
Michael - Ranga, smart guy - beat downs expected
Stacey - overly wacky - shunned by the popular girls
Zoe - fat - see above

So you aren't Ben, Michael, Zoe etc.

ZOMG: Tim is Estelle.

Don't tempt me.

Oh Ha!

I am seriously sitting here laughing out loud like a Mental Health patient with a cup of buttons.

I am guessing that means I have no infarction points left in the bank for a rainy day then, hey?

Time for me to pull my head in and fly straight...

Look, the think with Ben is, it's obvious that he has issues of some kind. Perhaps he has been ostracised himself in the past. Either way, call it bullying or call it something else, his way of dissing people behind their backs or, when it's to their face, hinting at some supposed character defect dressed-up in a backhanded compliment would be pretty unpleasant to be at the receiving end of.

I don't see Estelle as a "victim"...and whether or not she has been "bullied" seems to be up for interpretation...but the group has definitely, at times, ostracised her and been very nasty to her.

She has handled it all very well and I think it is due to her being comfortable with who she is and not really caring (mostly) about what other people say and how they treat her.

Self-assured young woman who doesn't need or want pity.

Sweet Jesus!

Does every individual personality really need to be turned into a fucking Dr Phil show?

I think it is important to remember that when people are annoying pains in the arse, it is human nature to want to distance yourself from them and be a bit nasty.

I swear some of you live in the land of fluff and bubbles.

I hope not, both he and Judge Judy scare me, they are both bullies ;)
