Because she is a CIA agent, she has kept her condition secret for fear of losing her job. I don't imagine the CIA would allow somebody with a mental illness to have access to confidential files or a gun.

When she is on her medication, she is fine.

And Homeland is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. Some really great performances. And I love how it makes you realise that not all issues are black and white

Thanks Pwta

Oooooooo Downton Abbey starts again tonight.

Just checked, it's on SevenTwo.. Odd for such a huge rating show to be moved to a minor digital channel.... Do they count for ratings? Is it definately the new series?

Its restarting from episode 1 tonight and replaying what we've already seen over the next 4 nights on Seven two. Then the new one starts (I think on Seven)

Speaking of Downton Abbey, I see they are advertising a new serial version of the Titanic made by the makers of Downton Abbey, starting soon to co-incide with the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. That should be good too.

Is it the cast of Downton Abbey on the ship? They mentioned the show a couple of times during the ad / trailer.... Looks like a pretty expensive production even though it's done for TV

No. New cast. The characters would come from the passengers who actually were on the ship I would imagine, considering it was an actual event and not a fictional story. I doubt the two Downton Abbey men who drowned on the Titanic, the Earl's brother in law (I think it was his BIL) and nephew (his heir)as mentioned in the first episode, would rate a mention. It's not being sold as a DA tie-in, I think it's completely seperate.

The "Downton Abbey on a ship" comment on the ad was just a comparison. Ie: Just like it, but on a ship. Same era, etc.

So here it comes, after weeks of nothing much to watch - the big launch and clash of all the new 7/9/10 shows
And it looks almost manageable channel surfing, most of the biggies overlap but don't totally clash so you can dip in here an there and chop off the 2nd half to sample th enext biggie.
The big clashes are tonight of course Voice v DWTS. And the Block v BL, fortunately I'm not following BL. And I'm liking the look of DWTS and I really like Mel B I think she will give some zip, and I can't stand Delta but I do want to hear some of the singers Voices.
I have never watched AGT due to Kyle, but I will be peeking at that.
Looks like the 1st week of block is all about eliminations anyway so it's kind of useless.
What are your viewing plans, what are you excited to see? Can't wait for the Fairtale show myself.

Time to get the new digital recorder I got for xmas finally set up...

I'm watching BL so obviously I'll keep following that. Of the new shows I'm most excited about The Voice, will record DWTS & AGT to see if they are worth getting hooked on, & I'll give Celebrity Apprentice a go too.
Not remotely interested in The Block.

Oooooooooo Celeb apprentice looks great, I'm betting on Dicko.
and I haven't ever really gotten into the Block either, I just watched bits last season and hated them all. But where they are doing the houses this time is a gorgeous part of Melbourne so I'm quite interested in the actual houses this time, just hope they get some likeable types. Block is a thing I will watch in adds if anything else interesting is on. Repeats of Doc Who will beat it usually for me. Can't stand the hosts either.
Crap I should be cleaning my shed and back yard right now.

I'm avoiding The Block and The Apprentice and BL and watching The Voice, and also avoiding the Dancing... Out of that lot only The Voice seems to interest me. I gather this series like others has already been filmed.. It does look that way in the ads.
