^Did you see the one with the woman who hoarded food? I can only imagine the stench of her house - she was a very sad case, nearly as bad as the woman where they found two or three mummified dead cats.

No that was the only the 2nd time I had seen it when I posted. I would not normally watch a show like that but was channel surfing and stopped when I saw the pile of crap filling the house. I don't think it's a show I could regularily watch.
 
Has anyone been watching 'Living in the Sun' I think it is Friday nights on 72 around 11pm.

It is hosted by Nadia Sawalha and it is about British dorks who are moving to Spain. The best part is 90% of them have no idea what they are doing. They come over with no job and all seem to want to start a B&B or restaurant with no prior experience and for some reason they refuse to learn the language.

It looks a couple of years old but is quite entertaining nonetheless.

Ichi, I've been watching it for a few weeks and you just kinda know that for most of them it is all going to end in tears. It's all good and well coming out to Spain for a holiday but having to actually work there makes the whole Spanish lifestyle way less appealing.

Every time I go to the Gold Coast I bang on about wanting to move there, last time I even went as far as checking out some rental properties and ringing the Gold Coast hospital re job prospects. Yes I would consider it in the future but not in the near future more like when I actually don't have to work anymore.
 
I watch Living in the Sun when I can....gets a bit frustrating watching most of them having no idea how to set up life/a business in Spain. lol

Im enjoying watching Dexter on monday nights...he's got himself into a bit of trouble as usual eek
 
Yep it sucked, he will have to earn his Oz spending money writing or something.

Hoarders - I cannot watch those shows, they freak me out. I have a sister with that condition bad, a best friend, and somebody I shared a house with. All of them have people who chuck out their stuff when they aren't looking.
It's a very common problem, and it's so weird. All of the above people have such a load of crap and nothing of real value because they are forever collecting utter crap.
 
I have a friend who I think might have it - known her for years and she's never invited me inside her house. Her car is absolutely LOADED with crap. Must be so hard to deal with.
 
I read somewhere that Lindsay Lohan has a bit of a hoarding problem.

There is also a documentary some french? blokes made and it involves them cleaning out their mothers apartment after she has died and the place is filled to the brim with crap. I think it took like 4 skip bins to clean it all out. The poor guys were juts getting so angry and frustrated.

Just asked google, it was swiss and called "7 Dumpsters and a Corpse" it is an SBS spec doco.

Was there an actual corpse amongst all that?
 
Yes and no, the mother had died in the apartment and was not found for some time, the actualy body was not there but the mess from her decaying corpse was left behind and the boys tackled that as well.
