Such a gorgeous song. Eva Cassidy does a beautiful version of this too. But the original is better I think. Much more earthy. Aww, I feel all sentimental now. And I came in here to post a Sex Pistols song! :eek:

Recently got my hands on a copy of the brand spankin' new Broadway Cast Recording of 'Xanadu'. Unashamedly, I can't stop freakin' listening to it... it really is that cheesy, but oh so great. Might see about stopping in to see it in NY. What can I say? I'm Alive!!
 
Has anyone heard Janet Jackson's new song 'Feedback'? I had a brief listen to it and it sounds as if she's jumped on the Timbaland wagon.
Interesting lyrics lol good song though by the sounds of it.

Now listening to the Original London Cast Recording of 'The Lord of the Rings'. Absolutely beautiful. Actually, nearly as good when I saw the show live. In it's entirety, the show as a whole is breathtaking, and while the cast recording has slightly weaker orchestrations than what you'd find in the theatre (don't know why, usually it's the other way around), the emotion and intensity or some of the performances on the recording surpass my expectations and more than make up for that, especially because it's a studio recording. My only wish is that I had hoped they would include more music from the show on the recording; for a 3 hour show, there is a surprising lot missing - but I can deal with it, they do that all the time.
 
amy whinehouse.......rehab. I just love this girl. I am so glad she was recognised with 5 grammys. She is the best blues singer ever. Love her, love her, love her.:D
