Would you have taken the $50,000?

I can't believe Aisha & Travis didn't take the money. Aisha would have had $45,000, that is a lot of money! They could have left together, experienced being onstage together, and started a life outside of the BB house. That kind of money can buy some freedom from lifes banalities (like worrying about rent, bills, working, etc). In some ways it's a bit of a slap in the face to people who are struggling financially. But on the flip side they can't be called out for being greedy & selfish (taking $5o grand from the overall winnings).

What do you guys think of their decision? Would you have taken the money?
 
If I was in a better financial situation, then yes.

If I already had a full time job then no I wouldn't.

Without a doubt. The 'experience' is all good but they're over halfway through now so the only experience they will prob end up with is being evicted and getting a fridge voucher.
 
On one hand, being in the BB house is a money-can't-buy experience. It's one that I personally have no interest in, but can still understand wanting to stay. $45K wouldn't go that far if you start spending it on stuff like cars and clothes. You can always earn more money, yet you can't go back into the house for another shot to win. Given most of these people are seeking fame (with bonus prize money) it's not surprising . It's only in retrospect when you don't win or the fame thing doesn't work out, that you'll probably think you should have taken the money and run.
 
Hands down they should have taken that money. They're going to be out in a month or so anyway and that's as close as they'd get to 25G each. They were lucky BB offered! On one extreme there's really materialistic HM's in there and on the other there's those like Aisha and Trav who aren't materialistic enough. Falling in love shouldn't make people dumber -.-

I'm with you. It was a dumb thing to do, especially considering they probably won't end up together on the outside. I know money isn't everything but it would just make life a little easier, even for a short time. I don't have money, and I'm not the type to waste it on flash cars, etc. So that money would last me a LONG time. Especially if it was the $45,000 that Aisha could have ended up with.

I'm a lot older than Travis & Aisha and I have always wanted to travel, but not having money has stopped me. I've always wanted to go to New York, Venice or Egypt. So if I had that money that would be my biggest outlay. Money isn't everything but without it your life experiences are limited. I think one or both of them will regret the decision.
 
I wouldn't have. I think they might get paid for appearances, promos and endorsement deals after this, well mainly Aisha anyway. She will soon earn that money back.

Good point. I think Aisha could definately be a model. I'm not sure if she is already. And no doubt they will do the mags, sell their love story lol.
 
I think it would depend on how I was situated in the house - if I kept getting put up for eviction I would have taken the money and ran
 
I see Aisha as having zero chance of winning, but Travis has some chance.

If they left with $25k each then MAYBE they would have remained a couple for at least a little while.

But if Travis leaves as BB winner and $200k in his pocket he will soon forget Aisha.
