Why does BB want Ed to stay?

Yes, Ben is harmless and fun. Tim should have called Ben (not Ed) Switzerland. I just wish Ben was here to play the game a bit. I'm getting tired of his chats with mum/nan. Ben can be funny though. Would rather see that than his picture chats.

The difference is Ed (and Katie and Lucy for that matter) flat out refuse to get involved for strategic reasons I think Ben tries but he's just not that sort of person.
I like how Ben interacts with Tim this is probably the real him.

Indeed! The Dark Knight and Ben will absolutely join forces. That may increase the douchebag's popularity too so he may actually make it to the end. It's all going to be veryyy interesting to watch. I'm getting excited about BB for the first time since Tim unleashed the old "Did you get that Tully?"

Of course they are different. I'm just saying how are Tim's ACTIONS (not talking about motives, just actions) any different from Ed's? Tim is a mastermind and kudos to him for it. Ed lacks finesse for sure.

So, are you implying that Alex and co. are tired of Ed? If so, we'll see that this week and next week if Ed's air time and quality of edit change.

Happy to see you have joined us downunder then :) Do you find it more entertaining? I have not watched one episode of the US BB myself, only Aus and UK.

Do you think Ed is as clever a player as he seems to believe he is? I believe he is trying to play the game but stands no chance of winning.

They had their first season earlier this year. Same style better execution. I haven't watched BBUK, I may at some point.

I think Ed is a fighter. But he lacks the finesse and strategic prowess to win. He may get to the final 4 though.

I concur, he certainly is a fighter and I could see him making top 4 too.

I hope it plays out bad for him - then I can watch the show again - but not before Drew & Jade beat him in every challenge - which has been the case - haha - (except 1) not that it will register with Ed - hes a legend in his own mind - Jade feels sorry for him! - he has no conscience - I really believe he thinks women are below respect
 
They are all fighters - but looking at the show - he's the only one on his team - why? haha - Eds 'strategies" aka "don't trust anyone but me" get them all booted first- and they still don't know it! - Caleb gave him the superpower and so did Matt! - He stooged all of them and they still don't know it - hello he stood in the background while the "booted" people did his "strategies/dirty work" - Matt should still be in the game!

hello - how many superpowers have Eds - booted stooges given him? - just goes to show - doing nothing but backstabbing with no strategy but "don't trust anyone but me"? - works when you have nothing but self ivolved interests - its nasty viewing - its not good viewing

Ed finally realised that the mr nice guy routine wasnt going to get him anywhere and has become a little more involved and interesting of late.....hence more screen time.

with that comes the hate but at least he's getting noticed now.

Problem is that his mr nice guy routine never came across as that - it came across as wishy-washy wimp. I think it's too late for him to change his image to anything but worse than it is. But who knows-that might keep him in the game, however it won't allow him to have the reputation he wants after BB is over.

agree on the first point and it probably is too late for him a garner a decent enough fan base to stay in the game but at least it makes for better viewing.

i dont think he's overly concerned about his rep. he's made a pretty good career already that will be waiting for him when he leaves the house. i think his main objective in BB is money rather than self promotion.

Says who? - haha - personal trainer? Matt (soldier) Caleb (fireman) were better at training than Ed - and more interested - hes offered nothing - and needs to get a proper job - and quite making out hes a personal trainer - if hes successful whats he doing in the house? haha - not too successful I say - he has a distinct lack of inter personal skills - a pre requisite for any successful person - personal trainer? just an excuse to go to the gym when he feels like it and look in the mirror - I believe
