literally decades in the making.... old song new video starring Saoirse Ronan.

 
So my bio on IG says “I actually have a way normal life for a teenage girl” which I find very fitting in relation to this song… I mean I’m a nearly 41 year old man that still loves the Spice Girls as much as he did when he was 12 😳.

The song I posted is technically a 90’s song as it was released in ‘98. Very early 2000’s and the very tail end of the 90’s/dawn of the new millennium era tend to blur together for me.

What most people would say is really 2000’s I don’t think came in to full effect until about ‘03/‘04ish.

I remember that song from High School which I associate the entire period with the early 2000’s for simplicity’s sake due to the way our school year overlaps two years. I graduated in ‘02 but started grade 12 in September ‘01.

Never hear that song… The version of that song I posted is a remix. Perhaps you’d like the original, it kind of has a similar vibe.


Here’s another… Peak pop/punk from the same era as above. She’s kind of like if P!nk and Gwen Stefani had a goth/punk baby.
