Birds flying high
You know how I feel
Sun in the sky
You know how I feel
Reeds driftin' on by
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Fish in the sea
You know how I feel
River running free
You know how I feel
Blossom in the tree
You know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good

Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all out havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when the day is done
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me

Stars when you shine
You know how I feel
Scent of the pine
You know how I feel
Yeah freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me

And I'm feeling good

I'm really like La Roux right now... The remixes I've heard of thier songs are nothing short of amazing....Sublime will always be a favorite of mine...

Tegan and Sara - Sainthood
I was really looking forward to this album as I loved their previous album "The Con" but unfortunately this is a highly uninteresting pedestrian pop record. Some of the songs are alright but there's not much depth there. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I'm doubting it at this point.

Two songs I'll try my hardest not to thrash to death.

Love the scale progression at 2:10.

Can't you see he's fooled you all? Share his peace, sign the lease, he's a supersonic scientist, he's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary man.

Look into my mouth he cries. And all the children lost down many paths; I bet my life you'll walk inside: hand in hand, gland in gland, with a spoonful of miracle, he's the guaranteed eternal sanctuary...

Fly away you sweet little thing, they're hard on your tail!

They're going to change you into a human being!

And as you listen to my voice to look for hidden doors, tidy floors, more applause.

You've been here all the time - like it or not, like what you got, you're under the soil

In blood he's writing the lyrics of a brand new tune.

Nice choice there, I reckon Supper's Ready is the best track Genesis ever produced.

Still, they never reached the level of prog-rock peers Yes imo.

And of course, they're still making good music in the 21st century.

It's so easy when you call
I was waiting by the phone
Knowing that you're all alone
And I ask you when you call;
'But will you wait for me?'
...Will you wait for me?
Cause in a while I'll never look behind
Even when I'll nearly lose my mind
So when the devil wins that toss
Will we be making it across?
Hang on...
Want it ,need it,
My want is found and feeding,
Hanging around with a girl
'Cause I want it, need it,
So bad I can hardly breathe but it slows me down.
And through all we bear the scars,
on the soul, through the stars,
Alone...
Forever we roam.
And you ask me when you call;
'But will you wait for me?'
...I will wait for you!
Cause in a while I'll never look behind
Even when I'll nearly lose my mind
So when the devil wins that toss
Will they be making it a cross?
Hang on...
Want it ,need it,
My want is found and feeding,
Hanging around with a girl
'Cause I want it, need it,
So bad I can hardly breathe but it slows me down.
Feel it in my mind and soul
Feel it in my constant lies
Feel it now, feel it go away... OH YEAH!
I WANNA GO, WHERE NOBODY'S GONE
WHILE HANGING AROUND WITH THAT GIRL
'CAUSE NOBODY KNOWS WHERE THE RIVER FLOWS NOW...
YOU'VE SLOWED ME DOWN!!!

Remember that they were at their peak during the early 70's. The general consensus amongst prog fans is that The Yes Album, Fragile and Close To The Edge are among their finest works.

love this acapella version from boyz ii men/mariah "one sweet day". How cool is the opening :)

Grouper - Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill
This album was released in 2008 and I clearly overlooked it at the time as I've recently discovered how wonderful it is. It's female acoustic/folk/ambient with aspects of dream pop. Good times.
