We fight every night for something
When the sun sets we're both the same
Half in the shadows
Half burned in flames
We can't look back for nothin'
Take what you need say your goodbyes
I gave you everything
And it's a beautiful crime.

The Netflix Daredevil series puts to shame every comic adaptation to date including the overrated Dark Knight Nolan trilogy.

...this is 'Eloise' by Barry Ryan from the late 60's... it was epic in my day in my teens... the multi layers and changes of tempo etc blew me away... first is the original release... the second version was later in life Live with an orchestra and the third version is him singing the same song in 2007 on a French TV show in the later years of his life... each time he sings it brilliantly... you can see that he really loves singing that song... enjoy... cheers.

The first version of this song I heard was the cover version by The Damned, which I really like, I think it's great as far as cover versions go.

...you're right... that is a good cover version Meglos... I've never seen them sing that before... thanks for posting it... cheers.

...I just watched 'Shallow Hal' and this was playing during the credits... I'd forgotten just how good it was... cheers.

...haha!... such a crap copy but I loved the song... funny thing is all those years ago when first released I thought that they were singing 'Judy in the Sky!"... lol!... cheers.

...this was such a big hit show in England in the mid to late 60's... it was as funny as... I may as well throw this one too being that I loved it so much in it's day lol!... I guess that it would be so 'politically incorrect' if it was released today eh?... cheers.
