Today's advice is don't fix problems with gambling.

Did you know, nerds being maths smart and all, that when they have massive IT conventions in Las Vegas, gambling revenues fall by 25%. That's because nerds understand statistics, people. Follow their frugal lead. If you can't be smart like a nerd, at least avoid gambling like a nerd would.

The whole Version 1.0 versus Version 2.0 rubbed me the wrong way, given 2.0 is a gambling fiend. It's like putting a fire out with kero. If addictions were solved with gambling, it would only be a one step program of going to Vegas, bitches.

Well to be fair we don't really know the full story yet and we probably never will. Though I must confess my first instinct is one of concern.

Ummm no. I didnt. Because I was in fact reading about the word's meaning just before I posted it, you see. So really it would have been a bit strange if I hadnt known what it meant. But I think you misinterpreted my post about it didnt you Reepybeepy, didnt you???

So sorry - for saying I would leave you to it for the evening and then reappearing - I got a PM from someone which prompted me to come back on the site. I hope you dont feel cheated by my non-absence.
