Well... I can't find what I am looking for - probably because I don't know the name of the term. Anyway this state-of-being (or whatecer it is called) is about when relationships deepen due to time spent together. Which of course seems reasonably logical. But might explain - psychologically - why you are so amazed by witty when no one else seems to be. (Or whatever it is you feel/think about him if it's not 'amazement').
