I just went to vote to save and received a message that voting is closed for this week - maybe no one will be evicted after Josh's tragic news:(

Josh was not nominated.

This is BB milking the dead big brother.
 
I honestly do not see why they would cancel an eviction...he wasnt nominated and like the real world...life must go on, my work place would not stop everything after a tragic event, they have to keep going!

It is unfair to those viewers anyway who were voting to save other housemates for the chance to evict another one.
 
I imagine it would have thrown the production timeline out if two people left this week. This is a way to keep things on schedule. Thankfully, it also gives housemates some time to support each other without evictions looming over them.
 
i am sure the same 3 will still be up for eviction sunday week, just extend their stay for one more week. josh's leaving took the spot of the potential evictee this week, so by suspending this eviction the rest of the schedule can remain unchanged. they do that on survivors when someone leaves unexpectedly no one else will be kicked out that same week.
 
Lucky I didn't put my votes in yet... What a waste of people's money if they just cancel it and not continue with anything this week
 
voting lines may have just been paused while they re-assess, maybe the eviction will be cancelled but I think just postponed and lines will reopen at some stage.
 
I won't be pleased at all if this eviction is canceled. Big Brother should have to separate personal from professional; many of us have sent in one too many votes this week. Canceling this eviction would be throwing the public under the bus.

Yeah it's not fair on anyone in the game to scrap this round of nominations. So what do they have to gain by closing it?

if anything they'd be better off keeping them open for another week.
 
Well I will be annoyed because I've sent 30 votes in this week. It's likely that the same people will be up next week and ill have to start from scratch? They have said that there will be multiple evictions in the last week so why not just miss one of them? Or miss next weeks, instead of taking everyone's money? Hopefully I'm wrong and it's going ahead (I mean no offence to josh or his situation)

Yeah don't say that In the "Josh has left the house" thread as you would be attacked for saying that. As was I.

Even after saying "Deepest sympathies" etc etc they all miss my point.

Either way it's likely the same people will be up next week and you'll have to start from scratch. The person you sent 30 votes to save was saved.
 
They should reopen the lines in a few days & the same 3 HM's are up & will be evicted sometime next week instead of Sunday.

What about the people who bought Eviction tickets.
