Vinnie's Eviction

I thought the instant cliffhanger felt ridiculous. The beauty of BB is that it's mostly live, and there's even a live stream that is currently showing events 24 hours after the cliffhanger. There was no need to have a dramatized ending like that.

So in conclusion:

Older OG viewers: Omg that was well done

Younger viewers: Omg that was too mean
Well I've watched every series since the start (except for channel 7 apart from the one they got Tully, Tim, etc back for) and yeah I thought it was a bit mean. For anyone.

I dont feel so bad about it now with him seemingly thinking it was a bit funny now from the video shown on instagram though.

I'm an older viewer and I remember when the production team took the mental health of the contestants more seriously. I'm glad Vinnie is taking it OK. I hope he really is and is not just putting up a front. That was a low act to kick somebody while they're so obviously down.

I just felt they needed more time to focus on it in the daily show. It was all quite abrupt. Today will start with them waking up.

He was "so obviously down"?
@timmy You know, it won't matter if he signs a stat dec saying he thinks it was funny, some people just don't have that view on life. Everything has to be a drama, everything has to be nice & neat & everyone gets a participation ribbon!

Vinnie looked to be fine , OF COURSE he is disappointed he didn't win, but he has his $10000 participation ribbon so should be good.

Vinnie will look back on this one day and laugh.

He's got a stable job, a supporting family, a side hustle that's given him a social media following of over 100k before Big Brother and none of that is going to be adversely affected, even amongst truth to the claims he's too performative.

Might be a bit of a drag , the first few weeks. How many times is he going to hear "Jingle bells" or someone asking if he is being fake etc just for laughs?

The only ones “outraged” are young Australians who don’t know any better and expect things to be wrapped up nicely for them all the time. Even the BBUK and BBUS fans are applauding how well executed the surprise eviction was. As mentioned, this will go down as an iconic BBAU moment forever - something even Vinnie will relish in.

I enjoyed the twist, but I did feel sorry for Vinnie too. Regarding the eviction experience: I probably sound like a broken record, but it's nothing like the OG experience, so he didn't miss much. He is going to be interviewed tonight.

I just can't imagine being in the house for a few weeks, then being woken up at midnight for a task and then getting immediately evicted. I would be so stunned afterwards, imagine the vibe of being evicted in the darkness of a theme park and leaving the site. I would probably then stay up all night in the hotel room reading the comments about me on Behind Big Brother. 😂
