Episode US Celebrity Big Brother (2018) - (USA/9Now) Episode Discussion

Just the secondary channels. For example an episode of Sesame Street in the morning got 136k.

So 112k really isn't that bad of a rating... Considering the very minimal lead time in to the series, it's in a "later" time-slot, it's a completely different format, and it's a VERY American cast... I want to see where the ratings go from here before I start calling it a flop... Also are 9Now views included in the 112k?

Oh my god! I can't believe that's Mark McGrath. He looks so unrecognisable. F***!:eek::eek:

It didnt get 112k, the last show in the top 20 got 112k. Just found out from David at TVTonight that Big Brother actually rated 52k. That is horrible. Random shows on cable TV rate better than that.

With those ratings I can even see 9 Go not airing the whole show or pushing it to a 12/1 am timeslot.

I can't say I'm really that shocked... I mean they only announced the show a week or so before it started... It's also on a secondary network and the launch aired at 8:40pm...

Still baffles me that all Aussies are tucked up in bed by 9pm.

How the ratings move will be the telling point - if they grow across the week it's a promising sign, and although they are promoting it the show is clearly a bit of schedule filler for G0 rather than anything else. Also suspect anyone really interested will watch on 9Now too.

I have wondered about this, and think it actually reflects that is about when most adults finally get to relax and do what they want.
Watch a movie, binge TV,read a book, go online, spend time on your hobbie, exercise etc...

It takes that long for parents to get everything done, dinner, homework, bath time, next day prep, etc.
Singles or childless, have their own stuff to take care of grooming, socialising, housework, dinner etc.
TV is on during the the chores and dinner, TV is shit, we do other stuff

And then maybe watch TV again in bed around 11.30pm really????

Last night got only 41k in a 9:30 timeslot. I guess after tonight they will be moving it to a later timeslot.

I am loving watching Omarosa bullshit, she steamrolls over people with total crap, she has a way of generalising everything and stepping over the actual point of anything.

Really? That's the thing I hate about her the most... She's exactly like Trump...

Yeah, she is vile, but it is fascinating watching what she does. It is fucked and so is she, but she leaps over what is being argued and makes herself a victim, it is just enthralling to me.
She would frustrate like crazy, everything is about spin.
She reminds me of all the cheats you meet, in school, in life

Two reasons why Omarosa is on the show:
1. Ratings. Duh.
2. She's starting her apology tour for working under the President.

I watch Big Brother to get away from politics, but it seems it's unescapable.

Thanks tips for filling us in on things we already knew...

Liking to watch and liking are two different things. Omarosa is interesting to watch because she’s a fucking crocodile.

I don't even like watching her... She's horrible! I lost all respect I had for her when she made a big deal about race and the Trump card saying people weren't respecting Keshia as HoH... It also makes me angry to know that she'll probably beat Shannon...

Well, now to decide who I want to win (now that Rudy's gone)..... James. James Maslow. That's who I want to win. Really, anybody but those reality bitches.

Ew. I hate James. He just seems so fake and obnoxious. I am hoping that somehow Shannon is able to win.
