Travis Appreciation Thread

I like him. I think he means well, tries to do the right thing, he's an affable sort of boofhead who, like David, also says and does things that make me cringe. His faults, (so far...) just aren't enough to make me dislike him.

He definitely won some respect from me...with how he confronted Sam today. He saw that his girl was too upset to say anything, so he tactfully and respectfully asked Sam to apologize. (Can't believe I am using words like tactful and respectful to describe Travis. Either he hasn't had the chance to show us this side, or Aisha is bringing it out in him.) Aisha should be happy that Travis has her back and stuck up for her. She shouldn't let herself be conned by Sam into thinking that was a bad thing...or that she should even have to come to him in the first place. Sam was in the wrong and HE should have come to her. He is just trying to manipulate his bad behavior into a favorable light...by turning it around on them. That hypocrite would have been in Travis' face so fast...if Sandra had been upset at Travis for the same "joke".

I can't believe I'm saying this but... I don't think Travis was in the wrong this time. What he said to Sam was completely reasonable, and I thought it made sense. Aisha was a huge baby about it in my opinion, and Travis just wanted to help her out. Sam making it seem like he stomped up to him was just down to Sam's massive ego being bruised by Travis actually coming off as sensible whilst criticizing him.

Aisha was too harsh on Travis, IMO.

What a wanker. Massive tickets on himself. Notice how when he was being asked how he knew Aisha liked him, instead of talking about her, he could only make it about himself and how suave he thinks he is.

Massive ego?

That would be Travis'.

Travis has a big ego, for sure... but Sam also has a very big ego. It's not like one can't have one if the other does, lol.

It's so odd though because Travis has started to show a more likeable side. He's generally such a prick, but the whole thing with Aisha and Sam proved that he isn't a complete prick.

I agree - I think he handled it really well and even from what we saw it was obvious he'd held back quite a bit until he felt something had to be said. Sam definately came out of that worse, and he knew it.

Wouldn't want to see Travis win or even make the finals but he's definately still got a part to play in the show - for various reasons he's pissing off various people in the house and all that is still somewhat under the surface. It could be interesting when things finally explode.

I totally agree 100%. Travis acted sensibly. Sam and Sandra are painting him so falsely.
