Tim appreciation thread!

Agree. Tim is one of the best strategists I've seen on BB.
I agree. Tim has always been my favourite since day 1 but at first, I just thought he was this really loud, pot stirrer who would be both funny and entertaining. It turns out he has this really intelligent side to him and he can articulate himself really well and we are now starting to see that he is the best strategist inside the house and one of the best ever. I think the comparisons between Tim and Michael2012 from last year are pretty stupid. Tim is way funnier and adds way more to the show. Michael was not a pot stirrer. The only comparison I notice is that they are both strategists and Tim is far superior imo.

In terms of best strategist ever, I think there are other housemates throughout the Channel 10 days (Tim is the best strategist of the Channel 9 housemates) who were better but at this stage, Tim is still in the house and I think by the time he is evicted or crowned the winner, he could very well be known as the bets strategist. Until then, I think he has 2-3 people he needs to pass.

Yes! I was just thinking this this morning about how ingenious the guy is!

Tim is a HMs i can actually advancing his career because of his time in BB. Not sure about him becoming BB but i would not mind it.

hell noooooooooooooooooooooooooo - that voice is not Big Brother voice material!! he'd drive me nutz! it has a particular childish whine about it from time to time ... nope not Big Brother at all!!

Come on guys, all these new threads. This does not need a new thread.

You'll find the Tim thread/s in the Housemates Forum. Post in there please. And Moderator's, please close this thread...

I wonder how close Tim got to being casted last year? I have a feeling he made it to at least the top 50 and possibly the top 25 but the producers did not think he would fit in with the dynamic of the 2012 house. Zoe from last year auditioned with him and they have remained friends since. I wonder if Tim auditioned for any of the Channel 10 series? He is 29 so he would have been 17 when BB started way back in 2001. He could have auditioned for every series 2003 on I think. Would not surprise me if he auditioned for one of the later series like 2007 or 2008.

There's a lot of surfer Paul from the Chryssie series (2003?) in Tim.
Paul came 3rd in 2004. He is my second favourite housemate of all time behind Michael2006. I agree, they are both brilliant pot stirrers!!!!!!!

I just sent 8 save votes Timmy's way!

I would assume 9 were too afraid to use him 1st series, but pretty much guaranteed you will be in the next one if all goes ok.

Just a couple of points I'm pondering on the wonderful Tim - people keep labelling him including himself, all that stuff is just garbage.
Could Tim just be an adrenaline junkie???Is that what his radio gig is all about?

He's brilliant, and a caged excitement seeker exploding all over the place, awesome way to use your pent up-ness.

And, rocks - shout out to all BBaddicts from Sarah Marie on............remember the rocks? Subliminal messages for us and a way to freak out HMs.

Ah yeah good point regarding auditions.

I don't think he is for a second trying to save Tully. His dislike from her has been obvious for a long time DID YOU GET THAT TULLY! Plus she took away the attention of his plaything Drew lol. She is just a downer and Tim is such an upper. I'm sure he just doesn't want her sulking and crap like the rest of us don't.

I'm pretty sure he will be disappointed if she doesn't go but not completely surprised. No guarantees in BB sadly. They do know its vote to save don't they?
Sure. But that's the way you think. Tim thinks in a different way. For Tim conflict is the game of life.

For Tim conflict is the game of life.

I do agree with that. But I still don't think that means he wants to save Tully. I will admit however that none of us probably really know how Tim's brain works. And that's part of what makes him fun in the house :D

Tim is playing the game brilliantly. Pissing the housemates off, but keeping the public happy.
He also seems to be the only one who has a good read on all the housemates, and what the public thinks of them. It seems most of the hm's have completely different ideas as to who they think is strong/popular in the house, compared to what the public are thinking.
They say they're pissed off because he's 'orchestrating things', when really they're pissed off because he's playing the game, and getting it right.
Keep it up Tim :D

Essentially Tim has replicated the conflict between Tully and he in the voting base. Both the Tim and Tully supporters are energized. Tim believes that this will save both Tully and he this week.

What a housemate, A great sense of how this whole game works.

Anyone else feel Tim as actual "Big Brother" would ensure fun and entertaining viewing in future series.
No.

You said it yourself, he is a great housemate. Yes, that he is, and he has definitely cemented himself in the "hall of fame" of the most popular BB housemates of all-time imo.

But he in no way reflects a "Big Brother" role. That's silly to even suggest.
