Oh ok.
Are you looking forward to getting the vaccine?
Oh ok.

I'm looking forward to either love island Australia or the next big brother. Vaccine or not, it's not going to stop these power mad hungry premiers as they see what they can get away with in their states.
True.
Looking forward to Love Island in Port Douglas.

I'm getting my first vaccine on Thursday.
AstraZeneca I hope?
Not sure, but probably Pfizer.
Pfizer vaccine is supposed to be from the 31st for the 18-39 age bracket. So I think you will be getting AZ.
The hub I went to yesterday had 2 lines clearly segregated .. the booths on the left were phizer and the ones on the right were AZ. Depending on your chat with the reception staff was what vaccine you wanted and what line they sent you too.Pfizer's been unofficially open to 16-39's in QLD state hubs for a couple of weeks. So if you've booked through QLD health @Columbo you'll get Pfizer. I booked through them on Thursday and got my first jab of Pfizer today.

This is what happens if you abandon lockdowns, ease mask restrictions etc and let the virus run free..So, you're in favour of more lockdowns after the eighty percent vaccination target has been reached? And I disagree, I think it is about power trips for these premiers. Especially that WA premier.

Florida heavily restricts virus control
I am so glad our premiers are enforcing lockdowns & other virus control measures - its not about power trips, its about saving lives.![]()
Thanks for this.Good article about "living with the virus" with 80% of all people vaccinated Vs fewer people vaccinated:

‘Living with COVID’ could end up two very different ways
When we try to imagine what “living with COVID” will look like, we need to realise that there are two very different “living with COVID” worlds.www.smh.com.au

@Columbo should read this, but I think he's got me on ignore.
the main difference though is that AZ takes 12 weeks to be fully vaccinated. Pfizer you can be fully vaccinated in 3 weeks. Given the chance of both now many people are going to take the option where they can be vaccinated in a quarter of the time. It gives them more security and speeds up the time to 80%.Imagine blaming the Prime Minister for something we should have been given all along as per ATAGI.
Yeah I did see one cubicle with an AstraZeneca sign in the row I was in. Assume it would be the same for each row as there were a few. They didn't ask me any preference when I checked in but I went to the one at South Bank here in Brissie which I think is aimed more at the under 40s.The hub I went to yesterday had 2 lines clearly segregated .. the booths on the left were phizer and the ones on the right were AZ. This was pretty much my thought process. When it started getting pretty clear that Sydney's a lost cause I toyed with going to see my GP to get the go ahead to get AZ but they don't do the actual jab there and as lazy as it seems I couldn't be arsed seeing the doc then having to find somewhere to book into. That plus the fact Pfizer was coming soon and has a shorter wait between jabs I was like odds are I'll be double jabbed sooner anyway if I wait. And sure enough I will be. In fact I'll be double jabbed before my mum who got AZ in June. Ha!the main difference though is that AZ takes 12 weeks to be fully vaccinated. Pfizer you can be fully vaccinated in 3 weeks.
