Never again
Why weren’t lessons learnt from all of the mistakes Victoria made last year in their handling of the outbreak?
Because of the sheer arrogance of the NSW government influenced by sky News.

Interesting the demographic of the BBB forums or who at least posts in this thread is quite different to other Australian forums I visit. Seems members of the other states don’t have much sympathy for NSW at the moment.
Can you help with any evidence of the NSW “gold standard”? Educate me.
Seriously though, who gives a crap about other states and countries?
I only save my criticism for Victoria as that is where I am from.
It will be interesting to watch the UK’s strategy. Most likely if successful Australia will follow when most of our population is vaccinated next year.Seriously though, who gives a crap about other states and countries?

Haven't you been criticising Queensland for the past year and a bit?
Nope. Only if their actions directly impact me.
In what way?
Closing borders when I have trips booked, when family and friends are interstate etc. Circumstances like that.
I applaud the QLD Premier and the CHO on their AstraZeneca anti-vaxxing views for under 40’s though.
I guess when criticised its only natural for people to defend their own backyard.I think it's just a very vocal minority here.
Oh, I'm pretty sure I remember you complaining about anything Queensland covid related, but that might just be my poor memory.

Pretty sure you are in the vocal minority.

Rinse and repeat… When it effects ME once again.
So does this mean I can complain about NSW because I live ten minutes from their border and sometimes visit the tweed library?
Depends. Based on my logic? Is their border open to you? If yes, then you shouldn’t because it doesn’t effect you.
I'm sure you don't really mean that. I think EVERYONE is sympathetic to the NSW people at this time but they are critical of the handling of the latest outbreak by their government and that is fair enough. I think we've all been critical of that here too. The same as we have been critical of decisions made by Vic and Qld over the past 18 months...unfortunately, very few have handled this pandemic perfectly and I suppose it's impossible to do so...but maybe it could all of been handled a bit better in hindsight.Interesting the demographic of the BBB forums or who at least posts in this thread is quite different to other Australian forums I visit.
