From what I remember when I said that I was annoyed at you questioning my opinion so I just “agreed” with you that I only held my disdain for NSW because I couldn’t be fffed arguing with you. You obviously wanted to be in the right. If you asked me about Victoria I must have not answered because imo it wasn’t really relevant to my argument. Why do I need to tell you my opinion on the handling on Victoria’s outbreak to have a valid opinion on NSW’s? I thought NSW was moving too slow.

Like I said on the other page I haven’t been a big fan of the stuff ups of the Victorian government but I have agreed with the lockdowns to manage it. Hope everyone knows my opinion on that now.

Because your opinion is often misinformed and not really based off any fact. And when fact is presented to you, you ignore it and move on. If you don't want to justify your opinion, thats fine, but you're posting on a public forum so you should expect people to disagree with you. Telling you that you're wrong, doesn't mean I'm trying to be right?

I think it's fair to say we've both made assumptions about each other. For the record, I don't enjoy arguing with you.

See this is the problem with you. Your opinion is that you think I am misinformed and not based on facts.

You don’t think my opinion is valid so you just dismiss it and want to argue because you think you’re right. (And then you add things like I find it “amusing” people are dying which is just a blatant lie to try and dismiss me to others and make me look bad).
 
Basically I ignore your points because I disagree and if I kept replying it would only be a non stop merry go round. We have to let it go at some point and agree to disagree on this.

But yet you feel the need to jump on my posts and tell me “the facts” or post a sarcastic comment to prove you are right. I feel like you treat me like I am stupid and what I have to say is invalid because you are right and I am wrong.

I'm not really sure you can play the victim here. You simply cannot post things here and get mad when people respond with facts? You are similar with Columbo in that regard. You've even admitted to not responding to facts because you don't feel the need too.

You appear to have a problem with people questioning you or disagreeing with you, and if so, maybe posting in a public forum isn't for you.

What are you not getting? I don’t believe in your so called facts.

You are the one claiming it is the truth.

You are defending your opinion. They are not facts.
 
You are the one with the problem of someone questioning your “opinion”. Every time I post something you don’t agree with you feel the need to let me know your facts.

I don't have a problem at all? I willingly engage with all types of people on these forums who have different opinions. I respect their point and open my mind to what they have to say. I don't have a tantrum and play the victim when they disagree with me.

As I said, I don't enjoy arguing with you. You're right - this is a merry-go-round and if this is where we agree to disagree, I'm content with that.

When you do that it makes it personal. How can I take your other points seriously valid or not when you result to petty remarks in your argument to discredit me.

I'm not sure how much more we can continue this conversation. I feel it's on the brink of turning nasty.
I'm just going to agree to disagree with you. I respect you sharing your opinions here - whether I agree with them or not. C'est la vie.
 
Reading through Is there any actual evidence that NSW were “gold standard?”

Seems like it was mostly luck to me but am happily to be corrected. 😉
 
Interesting the demographic of the BBB forums or who at least posts in this thread is quite different to other Australian forums I visit. Seems members of the other states don’t have much sympathy for NSW at the moment.
