THE VIRUS 2020 - the good, the bad, and the ugly

I don't think another President would have said the irresponsible things that Trump has said but that's the only thing I'm pretty confident of if Hillary was leading during this time instead.

I'm not sure about policy though. What does Biden actually want to do about the pandemic if he is elected?

There is no logic in this. Why single out Trump? Why not include the leaders of Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden and others who have all mismanaged the pandemic at some stage? ...and what about Bojo whom you socialists all hate?
(I should know better than to expect reason from the Left)
Because the conversation started specifically about President Trump and President Modi. Do you wish to discuss one of these other leaders and how they have handled the coronavirus pandemic?

Don't piss on my knee and tell me it's raining. If you want to split hairs, the conversation started with Mooseface's platitudinous proclamation that " HowEVER the virus arose, Trumpy has done a shocking job st managing it."
Don't expect me to cower in the corner and keep my mouth shut when such tripe is flung around.

Sorry to bring it back to stats but 1 even by the very best statistics going 1 in every 57 Americans have been diagnosed with Coronavirus, and 1 in every 1,839 have died from it.

To put this in perspective these numbers for Australia are 1,029 and 50,880 respectively; for the UK is 209 and 1,640, Italy is 234 and 1,706; Sweden, 117 and 1740.

A lot of the deaths for Italy and the UK happened early on in the pandemic, so that number is likely to stay fairly static unless there is a huge flair up, Americas deaths are still occuring, at an increasing rate so that number is likely to change.

Perhaps it was Trumps plan to go for herd immunity, but if it was he has never articulated that plan; in fact he denied it when asked directly in a recent interview. So I don't really see the statement of Trump doing a shocking job managing it as being "tripe".

What do you think of this discussion?

I think it is interesting that a fox news reporter, a channel that Trump has always supported as not being "fake news" and listens to for his news, is making Kellyanne feel she needs to defend her points so much she just keeps talking. Someone totally confident in thier answers do not talk that fast or that much.

I thought we're done with numbers. As for you objecting to my choice of words, there is something called poetic licence...
