THE VIRUS 2020 - the good, the bad, and the ugly

I was looking at them before. Merino Country have the best face masks!!

I just don't like how you have to tie them at the back.
I ordered them in particular because of the 'breathable factor' and the 'no sweat' thing. I'll see if they work out for us...if not, back to the drawing board!

Check your 5km radius (never mind the website name):

I have to drop my car in for service during the week, literally just on the other side of the 5km radius lol
Not near, literally runs right through the property next door.

I hope Dan's "common sense" would stop me from getting any fines.

My car’s overdue for a service and got a safety recall to boot. The 5km limit so far only applies to shopping, “personal” services and exercise as I read it, so I hope it’ll still be okay.

They should do mandatory testing at Bunnings, and catch all the Karens at the same time.

I hear that here in Melbourne we are now into stage 4 restrictions, why the hell are places like Bunnings still open? Yes maybe essential for the tradies that are working on major government projects around Melbourne, but do they shop at their local Bunnings for the items? Seriously it's not needed for the average Joe (or Karen) that just goes to that damn place to pick up some potting mix or some other crap that is not essential at all! Again I drove past the local Bunnings today and the car park was chock a block again! It's no wonder people don't take these restrictions seriously around here! Shut the bastards down and then the (Karens) can't go and argue there anymore...lol ;)

Ha i'm literally running on almost bald front tyres, engine seriously needs a service it's got an intermittent misfire most of the time, it also needs a new ignition switch. I could probably do some of the work myself but I tried to contact the local dealer about some parts and I think they have probably closed up shop because of this crisis. Anyway luckily it still gets me from A to B for now...lol

I can't find a nice clear list on any State Government websites.

This lady from the ABC posted a nice document of Stage 4 restrictions. I assume it's what they gave the press.

I'd be more comfortable getting it off a Gov website though.

I would put Bunnings in a category of shops that should remain open. Although with the 1 customer per household, limited entry into store and tradie only operating hours.

They sell plenty of essential items. I'd also rather people buy some pot plants, do some home DIY stuff under 6 weeks of lockdown than stare at walls, drinking and posting, "I went to the bottle shop" memes on Facebook.

Agreed. Those who think Bunnings only sells pot plants are like those who think BB is a show about a guy with a big dick.

Problem with Bunnings is some stores do home delivery, some don't.

Victoria is the state with the highest socialist population by far. Add to that an incompetent Premier whose priority it is to insure that the comrades will keep him in office... what do you expect? There is no way he can control that unruly mob without getting tarred and feathered and driven out of town.
