Always charming, and of course ABC peeps are doctor fans, nice chat
The guest list of his chats is fantastic, 10million listeners!
Flawed genius. Remarkable musical talent.
As a youngin, he was still alive and I recall the Italian girls all loved him
Seemed like greasy old shit to me
Brought up on Brit pop,he was like a dinosaur to my young ears
As a music loving adult I re-listend, and learnt about him through documentaries
Still not a lot of his body of work I like much.
But i do love, Can't Help Falling, and Wooden Heart
So, I learnt to appreciate what an amazing talent he had, and how he so radically changed popular music
Poor teens before him Sinatra , erk
Great respect for him as a writer and producer of songs
Amazing how poor his background is
He was said to be a white boy singing like a black man
A great shame he was mismanaged by that creepy Colonel
He stopped Elvis from ever doing world tours because the colonel had a dodgy past/illegal immigrant
And that makes his career even more remarkable, he was appreciated worldwide, but never toured!
